Most "photographers" are either not good, or can't post what is good here, on 4chan, where your work sits alongside /d/, /pol/ and /trash/.

Even a lot of famous photographers aren't actually good. They're just novel for defying a social norm like "respect for other people" so their pictures stand out (see: street photographers).

Maybe you need a change of subject matter, as I did at one point. For me flowers were great but to care more I needed something else going on - a special combination of flowers, or a pollinator on the flower - something to make a photo about a particular moment in time.
