go in the pool there and take some pictures. the weather sealing on the camera is rated for 1 meter under water so don't go too far down with it.

I'm not going to bully you for it.
You spend your money how you please.
Why'd you choose the 14-35mm over the 15-35mm?
>>
>>4336766
R5 is a great body in general, did you buy used or all brand new?
>>4336775
What don't you like about it? It's a highly rated lens so curious what you dislike about it as I was thinking of snagging it as my smallest focal length is the cheapo rf50mm 1.8f.
>>4336782
>f18 1/13sec
but why
You're in defraction territory at that fstop which will make your image quality a lot worse(softer).
Dropping down to f4-f8 you'd be able to bump the shutterspeed significantly higher at the same iso.

You did nothing wrong. Learn to use it and take some intredasting photos and show us.

Not him but I’ll guess cause it was cheaper

New w/ a DJI ronin gimbal.
>What don't you like about it?
It's not a prime lens and the aperture is small
>f18 1/13s
duly noted

You went all out my guy, enjoy it, you'll not outgrow that body till it breaks so don't chase the gear.
In regards to the aperture side of things, yes the higher the aperture more of the DOF will be in focus, but there's diminishing returns.
F8/f10 is really as high as you want to push it, and F4 isn't that small of an aperture, won't be a low light monster, but it's still good, you can get creamy backgrounds even at f8/f9 if you space your distance between your subject and the distance to what's behind them.
Here's an example I took today of F8 at 400mm at almost minimum focus distance.
Before buying any other lenses, besides maybe a cheap rf50mm 1.8f, work on learning and understanding your existing kit.
Don't worry about getting the lowest shutter speed possible, both the r5 and the r6mkii(what I have) are still good up to 25,600 iso. Even though you have IBIS and IS in the lens, the blur from movement is apparent at low shutterspeeds unless you're on a tripod. 1/640 to 1/800 will work well and limit that a lot more.
