Zoom function should be removed from all consumer compact cameras and phones. Especially from anything related to video. You get your zooming rights when you know what the fuck you're doing.
Don’t you have a job or school or something to do?
>>4337845welcome to heat wave /p/i tried taking photos yesterday and my camera shut off after 30 minutes
>>4337835I was curious which focal length I was using the most since I bought the g5x ii in April. I let the script calculate the crop factor for FF.pic related. Wouldn't have thought of that. No idea why and how it read every millimeter, but I still find it interesting
>>4338275Does it default to 24mm equiv when you turn it on?I used to use a niggon 24-120 f4 s and 90% of my keepers were 45-60mm

>>4338277>niggon 24-120 f4'm waiting for the flexes to stop flexing in my sample (common issue with this lens)
>>4338275on my 24-70 equiv kit lens, I also have the most photos on 24mm since that's the resting focal length when starting the camera.how's the AF of the GX5II, especially at night? I'm still contemplating getting this or the RX100VA.
>>4338357The AF definitely isn't the best. Haven't had many issues at night yet, but if it is a rather low contrast subject with little detail I had troubles getting the AF to bite already during the day. For example a wall. But I can work around that so it doesn't bother me that much. I was also deciding between the canon and Sony. What seemed to be a common thought throughout the reviews was, that the canon is a) more intuitive to operate (Canon menues are very easy to dive into) and b) (most importantly) it feels good in my hand. I pick it up and it rests solid. It is enjoyable to hold and to use and to look at, even. To me these are one of the most important factors.
