>>4339615canonets are all nice and can be had cheap if you trawl the listings. Only the 17giii seems to get hard memed, the rest of the lineup is more reasonable. I have a ql17 (gii i think) that i got for 20$, but i did take a risk on a "for parts" model. the description said it shot the shutter, lever wound, knobs and switches all worrked, just didn't have a new battery and couldnt test it with film. thing works absolutely fine, even still has a live battery. picrel snapshit from it.Some anons on here at one point had also mentioned the kodak signet 35 as a cheap underrated RF and i've got one on the way to try out. There's lots listed for like 20 bucks.[EXIF data available. >>4339615Don't look for deals on ebay. Too much competition. Look for private individuals selling their parents/grandparents "junk". That is the way to go if you want cheap.
>>4339626Canonets have an issue with filters interfering with the light meter.
>>4339615Try a fuji tx2 or an xpan.
>>4339667Might be dumb question but what's the best place for this? >>4339683>>4339626Thanks for the suggestions I'll check them out

>>4339615Konica Auto S2.45mm F1.7 lensFull manual with shutter priority if wanted.Probably the best viewfinder on a non system rangefinder, large, bright, sharp parallax correcting framelines, bright focusing patch. And they're like 50 bucks.[EXIF data available. >>4339615yashica electro is worth looking at if you're looking for a fixed-lens RF cam.
>>4339615Got two of them. Absolute beast.Pentona 2 is also great.
>>4339727Not saying much, all of these cameras mentioned are 40+ years old by now.CLA is a must as with all ancient mechanical contraptions.
For me, it's the Sokol 2
>>4339615I have a 35-sp, its pretty sweet. Has spot metering and aperture priority and that 42mm lens is just amazing, I struggle with both 50 and 35 after becoming accustomed to 42mm. I still would rather bring a point and shoot than this literal brick of a camera with its super dim focus patch
