The only digital Leica with SOVL is the digilux 3/L1. You should have spent the money you got financed on a hair transplant instead of a camera, hipster.

Its not trash, its lovely. Plus its cheaper than any new mirrorless system.

Not faaantastic but it could be worse. Could you provide an image reference for your body shape. It doesn't have to be specifically you in the picture, it can be someone who looks like you. I just want a refence.

Do retro chic hipster fashionistas actually care about either of those two? Seems like they're all about either brand new Fujifilms or old now-overpriced Canon compacts.

yeah actually, i see more olympus slr-styled compacts IRL than fuji shit. the gearfag youtubes and gearfag blogs say otherwise but remember they are literally advertising agencies

>>
>>4351056
Apparently enough.

Millions of people legitimately thought she was using an obscure film camera for her IG feed snapshits and trying to figure out if there were some settings on their fuji they missed. It was actually the lowest end camera olympus makes with the built in flash, a default filter, and the single shittiest kit zoom on micro four thirds.

Verification not required.

Why would you choose an em5 ii over an em5 iii. The em1 ii is also in the same price range at this point and has a bigger battery.
>>
>>4355669
I prefer the all-metal body, especially the tripod mount, which is a known flaw on the mark III. Also I just think it looks better with the actual flash sync port instead of black LED surround, I like the mode dial on the left with four perfectly placed Fn buttons on the right by the shutter instead of 2 on the right and 2 all the way on the left that you'll never use, and vastly prefer the amount of autistic customization and PASM remapping the MySet system allows, which was removed on the 5.3 in favor of a single Custom position. IMO you're correct though that the EM1.2 is a better choice than either.
>>
>>4355675
Also I'm assuming a Youtuber did a video on EM5.2s or something because looking at eBay they've all shot up in price compared to just earlier this year and are no longer a good deal at all now that the prices are on par with the EM1.2.
>>
>>4355669
>Cheaper (imagine wasting more than necessary on a fun camera)
>Better built (em5iii/om5 cracks at the tripod mount)
>Better button/dial layout
>4mp is not a difference and might make some lenses look blurrier
>AF-C is worthless no matter which one you buy
>EM-1/OM-1 models are so fat you're getting close to "just save your money and buy an a7iv/canon r6" territory

>em5iii/om5 cracks at the tripod mount
only if you use it like spastic
>>
>>4355779
yeah, you tell em! its their fault! their fucking fault! you leave that multimillion dollar company alone, retard! only spastics have a problem with worsening build quality and growing prices on a "rugged adventure camera"!

if olympus says it'll be plastic, you say "i'll be careful with it", goddamnit! respect your superiors!
>>
>>4355790
>using the tripod mount for something else but using a tripod
as I said, spastic.
>>
>>4355681
>might make some lenses look blurrier
Could you elaborate on why this is? First I heard. Is that the case for the em1 ii as well. I think it also has 4 more MP?
>>
>>4355796
>Yeah, it's all your fault, retard. Olympus made it out of flimsy plastic so give the multimillion dollar company your money and promise them you'll be careful with it. It's ok for a camera to be built worse than a sony a7iv. Just stop being a spastic.
>By the way sony is unusble because the a7iii is slightly less water resistant! Rain covers? eewwwwwww
Hmmm

Nah
>>
>>4355799
4 more mp when the pixel pitch was already nearly the same as a sony a7rv can ask a lot of lenses that are already basically on the edge of what they can provide nicely. it reveals additional aberrations like bokeh fringing and coma that do not merely resize out.

a lot of the long/lat CA issues of common MFT lenses would be totally invisible on 24mp FF sensors or require pixel peeping - mft is a crop, it's already pixel peeping
>>
>>4350411
is that the 12-40 pro? everyone acted like it was so much bigger on the em5 than that
>>
>>4355811
It is. But, m43 is better with primes. Pretty much all of the Olympus and Voigtlander primes are really good, except the olympus 20mm pro.
>>
>>4355957
the 17 1.8 is also pretty bad
>>
>>4355806
Then why was the common consensus that mft going ro 20 and then 24 mp in the case of the lumix a good thing? It seems to me the issues youre referring to occur in unique use cases. Like what type of lenses are we talking? Super long rang stuff where your subject is tiny and you're cropping a lot, like insect macro? Birds? Astrophotography?
>>
>>4356255
Have you seen the lenses those lumix weirdos buy when they're looking at b&h instead of photons to photos?
>buys a $1500 f2.4 equivalent prime
>ah yes full frame is finally btfo
Holy fucking gearfag i'll keep my little em5 and 12-45 f4 thank you very much
>>
>>4356255
>why was the consensus that mft going from 20 and then 24 mp was a good thing?*
Sorry, was too preoccupied to concentrate on grammar
>>
>>4356255
>why gearfags told me megapixels good?
gearfags haven't learned from the master. instead of realizing the truth they went out and bought their panasonic "leica" "noct"itrons en masse as soon as the gh6 came out.
