So I just ordered this. How deep in shit am I?
>>
>>4351747
Pretty damn deep.
>>
>>4351747
wdym? It's a great camera.
>>
>>4351747
You basically spent 50% more money for 50% less technological capability and quality... vs a fucking om5.
>>
You'll pick up a lot of dudes on the street shooting with it. Since you spent money on a Fuji, I'm guessing that's a pro and not a con for you, so you'll be fine.
>>
>>4351807
>implying
If OP went for all black version would I agree absolutely, but that's not the case for the silver top. Bitches go crazy for le trendy vintage look that Fuji has you would had known that if you had one. Just because women avoid you while you walk around with some Sony in hands alone it doesn't mean that this happens to everyone.
>>
Last time I saw this many crushed blacks was back in the congo
>>
I handled one recently. I kind of liked it.
It's a bit smaller than my XT5 and I even like the film simulation gimmick.

Honestly throw the 27 mm on it and it would be the perfect take anywhere cam.
>>
>>4351747
I don't know why you'd be in deep shit.

I think you should have spent the marginal increased cost to simply get an X-T5.

I'd buy an X-T50 as a secondary camera in a hearbeat tho. Not really a primary one.
>>
>>4351838
>assuming
I avoid Sony like it was monkeypox, try again Moshe
>>
>>4351838
>the silver top. Bitches go crazy for le trendy vintage look that Fuji has you would had known that if you had one.
This is the opposite of my experience. My women all think silver vintage look cameras look like shit because they look cheaper.

Sounds almost as gay as bokeh mode kek. Zoomers were a mistake.

Yeah that looks tasty
>>

I have a Pentax 17 and the bokeh mode is cool.

It's just aperture priority except only wide open. Based.
>>
>>4351957
the function that it performs is not the problem, other cameras have and have had similar settings. it's the faggot bokeh label on the dial that's cringe lol
>>
>>4351960
Gen Z and it's consequences have been a disaster for the human race

I never understood the Fuji "film simulation" hype. If you truly savor the look of film, and I certainly do myself, then why not just spend $50 on a beautiful condition Nikon N80 or something, and shoot real film? And if you're poor/a monkeypox carrier and only shoot digital, you can "simulate" film in post. So why pay ridiculous money for a stupid "film simulation" wheel?
>>
>>4351933
It annoys me that such speedboosters don't exist for RF-S.
>>
You could have spent less and got a full frame Nikon that can actually autofocus correctly and get non-soft images
>>
>>4352006
This. Fuji used prices are strong though, so you won't lose too much fixing your mistake.
>>
>>4351838
I bought Charcoal Silver. I think bitches like it. It looks like one of Batmans gadgets
>>
>>4351782
this. if you go down the crop-rabbithole you might as well go all the way to m43. they have far better features (weather sealing, stabilizer, computational photography, jpg colors) than the aps-c meme shit
>>
>compact and very well build camera with high megapixel count, good sensor, beautiful in-camera processing and extremely kitted out lens selection
You are done for

Even 40mp xtrans is lower resolution than 25mp micro four thirds
>>
>>4352141
It’s actually true. I compared files from my X-T5 and my buddies Olympus Em10 mii. Both fairly equivalent lenses and we shot the same stuff on a day out. The Fuji files fell apart at a similar rate as the Olympus files when zooming in. Keep in mind this is 16mp from Olympus. The 40mp is a meme. Fuji fucked it up
>>
>>4352457
you should post those comparisons
>>
>>4352457
Same experience. I fucking HATE my gx8 after using an r6ii but it still mogs fujis and phones.
>>
>>4352457
He must have been using a really shitty lens. Fujifags do that so they can fit in with all the other unique artists.
>>
>>4352086
its stunning that the m43oids are still out in full force in 2024
didnt this system die like 10 years ago
>>
how reliable is the AF of this? is it very sticky?

Why does wormji put these prism housings on their cameras? The only film SLR's that had housings like that are the later Contax ones, and the build quality on fujis is so dogshit it's immediately obvious that it's a copy in comparison to the real thing.

Im not sure if youre serious but the fake prism housing is about as thick as the actual evf module inside with diopter adjustments and the magnification glass etc

for the life of me i couldn't tell apart a video made from iPhone and m43

>>
>>4352122
Don't put a speedlight on that bad boi. Just a word of advice.
>>
>>4356367
That's because iphone video is unironically pretty good. The motion hides the flaws.
>>
>>4356367
Use the app from Blackmagic and the quality becomes prett6y extreme since you get total control over framerate, ISO and white balance. And then from there you can film in various types of LOG that won't use any of that computational stuff or over-sharpening that phones are known for.
>>
>>4351747

i do not get it, it probably makes pictures and video, someone takes it after you if you do not burn it with fire

So i had this like week now. Nice camera. Difficult settings and stupid electric lens it's not good for battery. So i ordered 2 more batteries and better grip but it makes it bigger but so what
>>
>>4357797

elaborate
>electric lens
as opposed to what?
>grip
I guess the weight approaches X-T5 now

>>
>>4351957
How do you like your Pentax 17? I'm eyeing it.
>>
>>4351978
Because if you mess with your pic in post, that's cheating. However when the camera does it automatically, then it's fine. You didn't do anything but take a nice photograph that looks kinda vintage.
Just speculating, of course.
>>
>>4357814
yeah, photography is so soulless it descends into a sport real quick

from art form to cameramanship contest
>no editing then you're a bad photographer thats cheating you're not playing the game right reeee
so soulless they think the mark of skill is an in focus photo with settings on the edge of suitability and max quality and of course, a level horizon without cropping

>>

>you can "simulate" film in post.
Having the camera automatically do that so you don't need to bother, and even showing you the result straight away after you've taken the picture, or so I'd imagine.
>>
>>4357823
What the fuck even is this movie? Just one big marketing and product placement goy? I don't even care to know what it's called but I keep fuckin' seeing it on this board like it's some sort of /p/ validation exercise.
>>
>>4357826
I STILL HIT IT
>>
>>4358158
why not watch it instead?
>>
>>4358158
it's basically a long nikon fe2 commercial
