well then why even make this shit pointless thread to begin with then??
>>

Scan film, and that is it.
>>
>>4355882
Take photos you silly goose
>>
With that many megapixels, I could probably crop in far enough to be able to see my own penis. This will be life-changing for some of us, anon.
>>
>>4355882
Scan film, use a single standard 35mm equivalent prime as a 35-135 digital zoom, and try and see your mothers brain through her nostril.
>>
>>4355897
Anon you just need to open your eyes
>>
>>4355882
Take pictures of flowers, rocks, trees, zoom to 200% then delete.
>>
Bird photos then crop to 200% and post to instagram
>>
Take pictures of Japanese prostitutes on break smoking cigarettes
>>
>>4355882
Have whoever pays you to take boring snaps to pay for a fancy camera and lens. Then get paid for taking boring snaps with the fancy camera and lens.
>>
I used the previous generation of these and was surprised by how good they were. Shooting speed was a problem and the focus can't always keep up but the photos were gorgeous.
>>
>>4355882
How much will these be worth in 5 years? 5k?
>>
>>4355882

shoot like a day of snapshits and brag about most computer torture image set
>>
>>4356712
less than $2000 in 5 years.

Dab on sensorlets with your large format camera obviously

35mm small format fanboys eternally btfo by macro four thads
>>
>>4356866
God I hope so. My film camera broke and I want to get digital medium format.
>>
Macro Four Thirds
>>
>>4355882
Outperform full frame at every ISO while gayboys whine about equivalent apertures
>protip: having more megapixels totally breaks equivalence. higher sampling rates enable more effective noise reduction. 100mp properly processed will have significantly less noise if exported to 50mp or 25mp than cameras that have that resolution natively.
>>
>>4359522
Cool don’t care cause Fuji cucks couldn’t even make it at least 645 lmao, shitty ass macro four turds
>>
>>4359531
Now THIS is sour grapes.
>i hate grapes! i dont care i wanted oranges anyways!
Jump higher foxy boy
>>
>>4355882
Take portraits and have so much resolution that you can fine postprocess so it is undiscernable on the final photo. Same applies for noise reduction. Take panorama xpan like photos with still enough resolution for big prints.
Exploit the 100mp easier with Ibis etc. I have the mark I - I agree the ergonomy is clumsy af but I always forget it as soon as I look at the photos.
>>
>>4359535
Lmao why would I have sour grapes when it’s phaseOne (REAL digital medium format btw) which is aspirational, not foolji
>>
>>4359663
They are on top indeed with their 150mp sensor- but market is shrinking due to the Hasselblad X and Fuji GFX solutions (if you can do 90% of what phaseone does for a fraction of the price, it is a no brainer. That and size). H hasselblad series are not going to be reconducted too.
Phase one prices are still prohibitive - I am really curious to see if they will put a mirorless solution after the XF.
If I wasn't worried about after service I would jump on a HD6 100c for the big sensor but in the end I am selling the H3D kit I have. Since I have a GFX100, I haven't been using the H.
>>
>>4355882
Why would anyone buy this piece of shit when you can buy a Sony a7RV which has 60MP and has superior perfect lenses that leads to higher quality photographs? Fucking pathethic losers.
>>
>>4359690
It is a good camera but it is still 40mp less and Fuji GF lenses are really good, the 110mm is a monster. With both cameras you can do a really good work.
>>
>>4359690
You sound like one of those MFT shills lol
>>
>>4355882
As much as medium format film cameras are still expensive (though I have no idea what the price at launch was) I highly doubt digital MF will retain their market value as well over time.
>>
>>4359849
That's the best part, I got mine for dirt cheap and the quality gap is objective
>>
>>4356866
the fuck? sony a7iii came out at $2000 6 years ago, try finding one without 300k shutter count below $1300, they don't lose half their value in 5 years
>>
>>4359512
heheh
>>
>>4360027
imagine looking for shit in secondhand market
>>
>>4362171
>imagine looking for shit in secondhand market
imagine not profiting off of gearfags who chase the latest or release, or normies who chase the latest YouTube trend? In both scenario, the camera will have served for a couple months at best before turning into a glorified paperweight.
>>
>>4355882
where's the 100R? I need a compact medium format cam that's pocketable
>>
>>4359689
Hasselblood shit the bed decades ago and never recovered
>>
>>4362456
Unfortunately started to go downhill by not renewing the HC lenses to resolve the 100mp sensor. And phaseone implemented some features on the XF that put them ahead. I am still curious to know the volume of XF/ XT they sell because the price is really stratospheric.
It is a bit of a shame that none has gone mirrorless with big sensors yet. Sure is a bias in my head but the pictures i took with the H3D39 were always different as the rest of cameras I use, portraits included.

I've been thinking that I'd love to shoot architectural with the 30/5.6 TS on a geared head. I'd ideally save my money and get the 100S but the tilt EVF adapter is a very compelling feature...
>>
>>4355882
shoot OF content with your mom
>>

hasselblad is chink leica now. at least that's what they try to be. but leica doesn't need to give away $15k special edition cameras to faggy youtubers like heathon.
>>
>>4355882
shoot sexy landscapes
>>
>>4355882
Sell it and buy gear I'd actually use, I don't need or want 100mp anymore, the platform lost its appeal to me after a few years with a 50R
>>
>>4368268
For all but the most extreme pixel peepers, 100mp has the same infinite resolution as film. No aliasing or bayer blur, wobbles, and smears at sane resolutions.
>>
>>4368270
That's neat, I still don't really value it myself, but you pixel peep to your hearts content!
Would love yo see some your own GFX 100 shots!
>>
>>4360027
They call it the Sony tax for a reason. Even the almost antiquated 6400 fetches good money used still. There is a lot of value in the brand name would be my guess. Lots to do with marketing due to their large social media presence.
>>
>>4368297
Because they’re good
>>
Bought a brand new GFX50S II for 2500€. Sadly not the 100mp but I guess it will do it for now. Feels good in hands, I prefer it to my previous A7IV and the image quality is amazing. I would say it feels more of an upgrade than aps-c to ff (on paper wrong of course). But the photos feel much more alive.
>>
>>4368395
Neat, you should post some examples
>>
I have the GF50mm3.5. Is it stupid to also get a used GF63mm2.8? 50mm for travel and 63mm for portraits, at home or short trips. I'm not sure if I would use the GF80mm as much because it's rather compressed for my style.
>>
>>4368679
if you already have the 50 I'd go straight to the 80 and learn how to to work with the focal length IMO
