>>
>>4360162
Just put the lens on a cardboard box and then put some sort of photosensitive material in the box as well. Done!

I like it, it's like a young tranny. It doesn't exactly match what it's a facsimile of but it's still cute enough I'd give it a try. The silver version is terrible though, may as well be Chris Chan in makeup.

sorry anon, I wanted my comments about the Df to stand on their own.
Here are my silly toys on my bed (I don't have desk space right now sorry) and a print my mom asked me to make for her because if the photo threads have gear in them then the gear threads should have photos in them.
I've even followed the thread theme and included a box Graflex turned into a camera.
>>
>>4360299
That's sweet of you to make a print for your mom anon. I really like the Qing Dynasty paint job on that Zorki, was that commissioned?
>>
>>4360302
Thanks! I love my mom and it makes me really happy when she asks me to get specific flora so she can have photos of them for her house.
It's a Slavic Gzhel pattern, naturally inspired by designs on Chinese Porcelain as you have seen but it uses different motifs more native to the area. A Ukrainian man makes them on eBay, I bought it from him and wanted to commission a 4x5 or 120 camera done similarly but he declined the work for fear of not having the chance to finish it if he had to move as a result of the war. Just as well, I'll save my money for when peace comes and buy even more from him I guess. The paintjob is fragile, handling it with sunscreen on your hands or in high temperatures is very bad for it. Perhaps it would be better to do the decoration via cerakote and similar techniques, but I'm very happy with the camera anyway.

why do you carry a rb67 with two 35mm? wouldn't the RB cover everything the others can do ?
>>
>>4361020
Those cameras have the absolute worst ergonomics ever. Almost anything will focus faster and be easier to use.
>>
>>4361020
>why do you carry a rb67 with two 35mm?
the Rollei is something to have in my pocket and shoot stuff i find interesting on the fly, normally with a low iso film because it's mostly for street in broad daylight
the FM2 with two different focal lengths that covers most occasions, and normally with a B&W film pushed to 1600 or 3200
and the RB has its own kind of photos. it's slow, it's huge and not everything needs to be shot in medium format
but some things do

Here’s my pile of garbage. If I had to pick one it would probably be my T90 with my FD 80-200mm F/4 L or a 50mm F/1.4 L. I know digital is way more convenient but it’s just so satisfying to use.
