They have aurora borealis in India?
>>
At this time of day, at this time of year, in this part of the country, localised entirely within your sky?
>>
I'm getting WILD colors with just 1/4th at f/1.2, ISO 800.

I use an EOS M for whatever reason now. Small and cheap and good enough. It's producing some BASED results.
>>
>>4372245
What lens are you using? I have an m50 m2 and am stuck using the stock lens since it has the lowest of f/3.5 of the lens I have. Still have to use 8k iso to pick up any real color. Although where I'm at it can't be seen with the naked eye.

you don't want longer than 3 seconds exposure unless you really just want a photo of colorful blur
>>
>>4373719
They were pretty diffuse in my area anyways. I did a test round at 1.5 seconds first and it wasn't bright enough without increasing ISO. My last set from the May 10 event shot at 2 sec 1000 ISO ended up too noisy so I didn't want to end up in that situation again.

Good catch, I'm admittedly terrible at spotting white balance. I thought it was the magenta from the aurora but it was way out of line. Still a tad magenta here maybe, but if I tilt too much the other way the greens look too vivid and overedited
