So I'm a fucking idiot and ordered used Sigma MC-11 converter online for my Sony a7riii camera for EF lenses from my older system, but had no idea it comes in two variations under the same name - for Canon EF and Sigma SA lenses.
Of course I recieved a wrong one - for SA mount lenses, and can't refund it.

I already bought the EF one too, so my question is:

Are there any good and cheap Sigma SA lenses that are worth keeping the converter for them, or I shouldn't bother and just try and resell it?

>i received a product i didn't order and cant refund it
basically no sigma lenses are good
if they refuse to refund you for sending the wrong item do a chargeback
>>

They didn't send the wrong one, OP bought the wrong one.

Yeah, as I already said - I'm a fucking idiot.
But I'm still mad at Sigma for making two different products under the same fucking model name

Refund it anyways

Customer always wins. No one will risk a lawsuit when you claim that your crippling autistic depressive hangry disorder and sudden onset gender dysphoria (both now cured by yoga and herbal medicine) caused you to experience a brief period of incompetence

Lol, I ordered it from russian marketplace (yuropoor), I don’t think they give a shit about my lawsuits. I can probably resell it for more than I spent, but it’ll be a looong time until I find someone as stupid as I am (or some Sigma-fag, I dunno)

(So, taking into account the time it'll take to resell, and the fact that I spent just around 110$ for converter in mint condition, I just thought it may be a little more useful to find some good used SA lens for cheap)

Just sell it. The used market for SA lenses is not very big and Sigma abandoned the mount years ago.
Any worthwhile lenses will be cheaper and easier to find in EF mount (or even E mount).

Most Sigma lenses from back then are simpy not good. Terrible even. I'd ditch it desu, if you wanted an esoteric mount I would have gone with the Minolta A adapter, some excellent sleepers that don't cost too much if you find them in Japan. EF - should be common knowledge what is and isn't good
>>
>>4372885
Sigma SA lenses are usually more expensive than the same lenses on Canon EF. Maybe you can find a good deal or two on the Art lenses, but I would say just resell it.

No!
Leave SA mount optics for those of us forced to use it (Foveon).
It's hard enough trying to find something decent to stick on them.
About 75% of SA lenses on the market are SHIT.
>t. just bought a 20mm f/1.8 without doing research, thinking Sigma didn't fuck up their pre-global vision primes too
>they did
I hope the 1.7x crop obviates most of the problem, but it's still one of the worst "EX" primes they made.
