Go ask him some technical questions about printing in /fgt/ I'm sure he would be happy to help you! I hear he also has a motorized beseler 45vxl with color head and an ra4 roller print processor, but he hasn't had time to build a darkroom in his shop/studio yet. That's a big enlarger if you didn't know!

Large format takes a lot of finesse to get maximum quality out of your negatives and prints. I'm really not suprised he was closely examining his work so he can improve on something he is actively learning!

I like my M10 a lot
nice to have a simple camera, where all I think about is exposure and focus, only ever use the menu for formatting or sensor cleaning, and screen only for playback
i have other cameras for more specific situations that i can fine tune and customize to my hearts content to min/max "shooting efficiency"
but it's been a perfect EDC camera for me, use it for small sessions, weddings, walks with the dog, travel, local events, nights out with friends, basically anything
impractical in a lot of ways, but for "doing photography" no other camera has disappeared in the same way, no other camera lets me operate by feel as much, never have to look to adjust exposure, and can often just focus by feel
helps that i don't like to shoot wider than 28 or more tele than 50 if i dont have to

It's a split. EVFs give you exposure preview and on some cameras can gain up to see more than your eye can at night. OVFs save battery power and don't have any issues with lag, color balance, dynamic range, or washing out in bright sunny conditions.

Worked for me, never had a shutter failure, but there are biases. Even if you look at every single listing, you'll still never get a perfectly accurate representation of how durable a product is, just because of the fractional sample size. As far as I can tell this is the best method of checking this we have. There's other factors too, for example, the some cameras like the 5D have a really slow continuous speed which means less stress for the shutter, which is a factor. Some cameras just don't get used professionally, for example the Olympus pen series, so there aren't many well-used models to go off.
