Id get a Bessa R if ltm is okay. Light camera but still robust (think thick 90s plastic composite), good meter, fantastic viewfinder. Should be able to get a lil kit for ~$500. Pic related. Alternative could be a leica cl for m mount. The meters die, so either get one with one already dead for less $$ or pay a bit more for a working meter with the understanding that could die on you. CL is a good option if you plan to shoot mostly in the 35-50mm range. $350-$400 for a broken meter one. Then you could start with a $80 7artisans lens and go from there.
>>4384020get cannot P or 7 the last based cannons made, you get metal body, ltm mount, it's not russian/hohol shit that doesn't work most of the time and the shutter curtain is stainless steel you sun will not burn the holes in it like in lecias
First ask yourself, interchangeable lenses or not?
>>4384261I want both.
>>4384262then just buy whatever's in your budget, everyone already suggested a bunch of good interchangeable rangefinders so i guess i'll suggest some non interchangeable ones I've got experience with.Konica Auto S2, get a serviced one, great viewfinder and got full manual mode.Olympus 35 RC, good compact design, traditional controls, full manual mode.Konica C35 (not the EF) Small as fuck, shutter priority only, good lens, very cheap.
>>4384023If OP is not in eastern/central Europe he may have trouble with getting Ukrainian cameras in tip-top working conditions.
>>4384020Olympus XA? I've heard good things about that one.Other than that I would genuinely say that an early Leica is worth considering. You can get the M2 and M3 for reasonable prices and they'll last you a lifetime.
