Because professionals want dramatically noisier cameras for some reason. Maybe it's to make us feel better about opting for aps-c?

Or, incompetent boomer left it on ttl+auto iso
>>
>hot pixel so obvious i could see it without zooming in
right by the left ear
yikes.

>>4399933
knowing how bad most so called professional photographers are, P mode and ttl is likely

most professional photographers aren't actually any good and most of them have assistants to edit, crop to compose and do all the lighting setup. the interns are way more talented than them, and you. see: annie leibovitz. hasn't done any actual work since the 80s, just auto mode snapshits and lets her assistants sort it out.

It creates a certain mood that is a good fit for the subject. It works because it's Trump, but it wouldn't work for just anyone.

Well, it's a hell of a lot better than his last official portrait at least.
What an absolute shitter that was.

Fuck photos, we need to go back to paintings being made for official portraits of heads-of-state.

Absolutely love these two.

Sperm running down the forehead in the first one, and covered in menstrual blood in the other. What is not to love?

Excellent. Perfectly captures both history of British empire and the subject. Old guy wearing uniform with companion butterfly standing in a shower of blood.
>>
>>4399925
Familiarity. Mugshot rehash.

Noticing patterns even subconsciously with a slight surprise causes dopamine release which is why music and art in general relies on repetition with evolving variation.

Looks like a character selection screen for a WWE game.

look in his eyes. they're using a wide rectangular softbox for some fucking reason, which is why he's disgustingly shiny and starts to become shrouded in shadow at the bottom. it's also far too close, which is why the background is dark. there might be a reflector on the left side? that's about it.
overall just very unprofessional. maybe he brought in some of those H1B Indians to shoot it
>>
>>4399925
>both eyes and ear in focus
There's no way to sugarcoat this, this is some amateur shit. Can't they even afford 85 f/1.2?
>>
He knew exactly what he was doing with this photograph.

Dark background. Bottom up lighting. American flag highlighted.

He's trying to look like some sort of supervillain, but he just sort of comes across like a Stage actor in costume. I'm actually quite surprised that the photo was deemed acceptable.
>>
>>4399925
It doesn’t. It makes him look like someone told him not to shit himself and he’s staring back at them defiantly and trying.

Does it work? It looks like a movie poster for captain capeshit 13

It's a good picture of him, but it's overall flat.

>>4399946
I really like this as a portrait, but damn does it ring alarm bells knowing what we now know about the left and Obama. Surely some satanic shit behind this. And the sperm on the temple... pure humiliation ritual.

>>4399947
Pretty badass for a King ngl
>>
>>4400131
Surely. I have seen a satanic shrubbery or two in my time, and my medievally stupid morons, this is definitely one of them. I can tell by the pixels.
