>>4401347That's a street photographer meme, for people that exist solely to take generic, non-artistic photos of pedestrians in new york, LA, and asia.

>>4401347Gear won't help youDays off and new places will. Who the fuck wants 500 photos of the rocks and leaves in one spot, 500 photos of the same cat, etc...>>4401381Yeah, they're not photographers, they're sportsmen. It's about the hunt, the challenge. It's about passing up shots and looking for ones that work with the one prime you're limited to for the duration of the game instead of taking lots of good photos whenever they show up. It's about the practice. You are less of a street photographer if your camera has autofocus, less of a street photographer if it has TTL viewfinding, less of a street photographer if the lens is too long and getting in faces isn't necessary, etc.A lot of them are actually studio photographers, and it's a sport. It's practice so they can get better at working faster.
>>4401381picture is hilarious for reasons i cant describe
>>4401347It's what I do sometimes. Less gear to take around, you have to think about composition more etc so it's pretty good for that.
>>4401347Yes. I mostly just use my 105mm prime macro lens. It can do macro shots, of course, but works well even for wildlife. Only sucks for group photos and landscapes.
