>before breaking bad comes out>kids weren’t ODing on drugs regularly, drug use scene as taboo in schools >smoking weed or cigarettes made you the weird kid>after breaking bad come out>6-8th graders overdosing daily instead of infrequent older kids>drug use rampant from 6th grade onwards>vapes in classrooms>drug use normalized more in music than in the pre 2010swhen are we going to hold the “entertainment” industry accountable for glorifying illegal drug use and activities?
totally retarded. Kids in my local elementary school were getting busted with drugs. A coastal upper-class white town
>>472883947The problem with these shows isn’t the drugs, it’s the anti-hero worship. Instead of glorifying being a good person, tv glorifies being a subhuman scoundrel that finds creative ways to cheat others.
While this show may have somewhat glorified drug dealing (not as much as many other netflix shows) - what it certainly did not do was glorify DRUG USE. It glorified drug use about as much as "Requiem for a dream" did in the 90s. Absolutely every character in this show who touches drugs is displayed as a total degenerate with no prospects, universally looked down upon by everyone. It paints a picture of the marijuana to meth pipeline better than DARE ever did. It shows the DEA as being good guys without exception.
>>472883947The glamorization of drug use within 'popular culture' began in the 60s. And Breaking Bad portrays Meth users as mind-wrecked zombies.
>>472883947>science bitch >normies trust science now>covid >mrna >young people dying >cancer >died suddenly >athletes dropping>celebs turning ro veg>zoomers looking old as fuckhere we all are
>>472884350I guarantee you it’s now worse than before
>>472884779you can watch breaking bad scenes uncensored on youtube without signing in. basically every good part where it glories use the most. kids are watching this starting in 5th grade at the latest. walter white is a household name now
Breaking Bad depicts what drug addicts at their worst. Including crushing family members heads with stole ATM machines.
>>472883947Drug use has been normalised since the 1960s and you didn't see any of it in school because you were incredibly sheltered. You can thank your doctors and pharma companies for the rise in addicts, not to mention a society that is making it increasingly difficult for young people to succeed
>>472884771Yep the effect is noticeable Drug addiction hasn't changed at all but normies have gotten far more cutthroat.
>>472883947The best episode by far is the one where they hunt a fly in the lab.
>>472883947>kids were actually straight edge before braking bad R U DUMB
Why can't normies observe anything without treating it like a life lesson?
