We're seeing a trend of legal decisions by the supreme court that seem to indicate an attack on the administrative state. Chevron defference going away will defang a lot of federal agencies because the courts will adjudicate whether they're allowed to make certain regulations or not. The real question is if they're going to rule on non-delegation and say that the congress can't give away its lawmaking authority to unelected bureacrats and that means agencies aren't allowed to make regulations. If that happens we can just casually fire millions of feds because their jobs won't exist anymore.
