Do standup comedians have any significant effect on real world politics?
Are they simply a tool of propaganda?

british comedians are all libtards who work for the state.
American comedians are usually libertarian leaning, there are far leftists which is the norm, but i feel someone like chris rock would argue for free speech and defend it even if he was a libtard.

You also have institutions like late night shows and saturday night live which out right refuses to make fun of obama, biden or the democrats. its why no one watches them anymore
