White women are organizing to vote for Kamala in record numbers and so many of them attended the virtual meeting that it ended up crashing Zoom. >The "White Women: Answer the Call 2024" event just raised over $2 million and broke Zoom multiple times during the event. Attendance beyond the 100K limit overflowed to YouTube Live, with an additional 30K viewers. >The Zoom call, organized by Shannon Watts as a follow-on to this week's earlier Zoom calls for black women and black men supporting Kamala Harris, logged over 100K attendees on Zoom, which broke an all-time record for the platform and resulted in intermittent crashes throughout the event. When Zoom ran out of capacity, they sent guests to an overflow feed on YouTube Live.>The event raised over $2 million, at one point clocking an average of $20K per minute.>Guests and moderators included: Arielle Fodor (aka Mrs. Frazzled), Glennon Doyle, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, Annie Andrews, Leah Greenberg, Virginia McGregor, Haley Stevens, Lauren Westphal, Mallory McMorrow, Lisa Hazen, Elizabeth Minnella, Connie Britton, Andrea Gibson. At various points during the call, they were joined by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, P!NK (from 41,000 feet in the air), and Olympic athlete Megan Rapinoe, who shouted "Let's F***ing Go!" at the end of her segment and caused the YouTube chat to explode.
