The whole point of VP selection during a campaign is to create a balance in optics.But his VP pick was just an extension of himself: an ultra outspoken traditionalist who will only win over those who are already republicans which isnt what Trump needs.The best balance would have been Scott or Haley, no matter how much anons hate him or her for this or that, it's still the best optics for republicans since they often get smeared for being woman and minority haters, and these are the optics Kamala is mostly riding on atm.Trump achieved this in 2016 because Pence represented a bridge from the seemingly unhinged and inexperienced Trump with a solid as-a-matter-of-fact politician.I can't believe how much Republican campaign strategists utterly suck compared to Democrats.
