Here's the thing. Popular understanding of forgiveness is flat out wrong. You don't get to ask for grace on your deathbed for you will be judged by your own measure at the gates. Salvation from the fallen world is not withdrawn for honest earthly mistakes, in most cases it's an opportunity to carry a cross and use the experience to guide your fellow man away from the same mistake. Churches are infiltrated, and they're the only ones throwing a fit about interpreting the Bible on your own. Nevermind it's just an account of things in the past that make for good indication of human nature. Plus church likes to add 50lbs of story where it flat out doesn't exist, not even embellishment, just fiction.
