One thing I'll never understand is why people with any party loyalty are allowed anywhere near where votes are being cast and counted.In even the 2020 election, arguably the most heated in the nation's history, something like one full third of eligible people didn't bother. Why aren't these people being summoned to run the show? They obviously don't have a dog in the fight. You could run it like jury duty or something and make it a civic duty. Send out summonses, show cause people who don't show up, and let the people who don't care about the outcome run the show.
