Battles like Mossul, Hasaka, Kobani und Raqqa made them come there from everywhere, providing thousands of targets for coalition airforces, with literally tens of thousands of them being obliterated. most of their women and children are in Kurdish prison camps today, which are huge, and a very small minority actually hides deep in the sandy desert of south-eastern syria, operating somewhat of a classic terror group, nothing anything like a militia or an army like back in the day.interestingly, there's also a few hundred who fled kurdish prisons when the Turks attacked them and joined Turkish ranks in Syria. But again, the vast majority of ISIS fighters is literally dead. Which has always been their greatest wish, unironically.
