So, why her? It's clear at this point they didn't actually expect Biden to drop out, but why endorse Kamala? The VP options being floated for her campaign stand a higher chance of actually succeeding in the role, specifically Josh Shapiro, so why run with someone who was so unlikeable and impersonable that she's had to be hidden from the public eye for much of Biden's presidency? No matter what, with three months to the election, the campaign has to be an astroturfing one like what we're currently seeing, but again, why pick one of the weakest available options? This would be the equivalent of Republicans making Pence the frontrunner.
