two mistakes. trump said he will debate joe biden any place any time. he had nothing to gain and everything to lose. and joes dnc handlers who wanted him out took trump up on the offer and debated really early. bizarrely early. and trump fell for it.
the second mistake was vance.
trump was never going to achieve anything anyway, because the president cant do too much to turn an entire civilization around. especially when 50% of the population and over 50% of congress are against the idea. but it would have still been funny to see him win again and watch the seething from the mentally ill. oh well. right now it seems they have taken a couple of serious missteps. its not clear how bad it is yet, need to see what polls are saying in about 3 weeks once the hype settles.
