There’s a lot of misinformation about Freemasons out there. They probably used to have a lot more influence than they do now. The blue lodge is just kind of a faggy club of men that have inferiority/superiority complexes. They believe in God but they think that their understanding of God makes them superior to non-masons. That wasn’t the original intent of the organization but that’s how it is now. To put it bluntly they just practice a bunch of obscure rituals that are based on Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism). Most masons are Christian and they basically see the Bible as a Kabbalah text that’s meant to be interpreted metaphysically. The problem with that is members are being given information verbally rather than in writing. Yeah they have text but at its core the teachings are verbal so modern Masons probably received the teaching from someone that doesn’t even really understand the teachings.When you join a lodge you go through an initiation process. It’s unclear to me whether this is supposed to be symbolic of a true initiation or whether they actually believe they are being initiated. For those of you who aren’t in the know, an initiation is a spiritual process that occurs when you reach the highest level of soul refinement, it takes many incarnations to get to the point where you’re ready to initiate and you can’t legitimately initiate by just doing some gay ritual where you swear an oath to “the worshipful master” The red lodges (Scottish Rite and York Rite) are bit more nebulous. The Scottish rite is more political and the York right is dedicated to preserving Christianity. There used to be a lot of congress members that were Scottish Rite Masons but with the demographic shift and social decline there’s not nearly as many people interested in joining. At that point you’re basically just bribing your way into positions of power for personal reasons, at least it was in the past.
