The Z symbol is made out of his hair. Current Russia supports the world relevance the Soviets brought, not nessecarily the Marxism. Even then, Leninism largely kept the class struggle/revolutionary/economic stuff while removing any social capital or "social construct" theories Marx laid out that became the liberal cultural Marxism you know today. That liberalism is largely continental European and that group is glorifies Ukraine. Russia is much closer to his ideology.
