Ok, why would a nuke launcher need fire extinguishers?
>>489026214is that a water tank on top left lol
to extinguish fires
>>489026404Fruewherer
A small fire unrelated to the nuke launchers primary function can disable the nuke launcher. Fire extinguishers are cheap and effective to stop small fires and keep the nuke launcher operational
Have you ever seen a tire fire those big rigs tires, when it's over activation they're practically flammenverfers.>What's a flammenverfer?
>>489026632is the truck really big or are the gooks really small?
>>489026214In case the nuke goes off prematurely, retard.
>>489026214>literally launches a giant space rocket off the back of a truck>"why does it need fire extinguishers?"I dunno mr Brazilian intellectual... maybe the giant space rocket has a probability of starting fires or something?
>>489026632That's pretty sick ngl>>489026732Yes
>>489026732A mix of both I believe, it's certainly a big truck but they are like 1.60m, I seem to recall that Japanese men thought the Sherman tank was spacious, or it was the Chinese I don't remember but they are pretty much the same anyway
Are trucks that can launch ICBMs reusable or were they all like, well we probably only need them the one time and then we're fucked when they designed them?
>>489026214Every car needs a fire extinguisher
>>489026214I’ve had a tire catch fire before. Don’t know when you’ll need to put out a fire.
>>489026214I'm guessing so that a small fire doesn't set off the fuel, especially if it's a solid fuel rocket. Cleaning it up would be a pain in the ass.
>>489026214They're for putting out fires
>>489027897Russia has a different design philosophy than the US so theirs is reusable.https://youtu.be/QIzXI-mlJjsNotice how the missile rises before the ignition? It uses gases or springs to launch the missile upwards, allowing the missile to ignite after clearing the tube. Same thing happens with their silos. The US on the other hand they use silos more and it's one time use. Which is why the soldiers that fire a nuclear missile have to clear out the fire inside the silo before they get nuked lol. And probably close the hatch. But either way they are good as dead.
>>489029044That's pretty cool. Growing up at the end of the cold war was a little scary but this shit is kind of kino.
>>489026214Looks like that pepe with a toblerone on his head
>>489029044Thats not true. Those bunkers who launch are seperate from the launch silos the bunkers have a small living area. There is about 21 days supply of food, electricity and several small bunks. Maybe the size of a small hotel room. You are expected to remain on site after launch and await further orders.Source: me
>>489026214Sometimes they're required to park on leaves
>>489026214This thread exposes the Brazilian's IQ.
>>489026214For spraying their bros when they're bored, even soldiers like to engage in a few shenanigans once in a while.
>>489026214>Ok, why would a nuke launcher need fire extinguishers?perhaps, it is an engine related safety precaution? How many engines does a 16-wheel missile carrier contain anyway? four ? Can they have issues with overheating, or could one of them catch fire?
>>489026944FPBP
>>489026214Because it's a launcher. It'll spray fire all over the damn place when? It launches. You might want to put out some grass fires before they consume the woods or maybe part of the vehicle has a slight light up. I mean I assume after you launch a fucking missile out the back of that thing there's going to be fire here and there. From it launching. So.....fire extinguishers?
>>489031195Why only 21 days? why not 3-6 months?
>>489035258so anytime a missle launches, there are guys who run around with fire extinguishers putting out the fire at the launchpad?
>>489026214Are you seriously this retarded?
>>489031195From what I remember I got my info from this video where he says you need to put out the fire's and close the blast doors.https://youtu.be/FVZmFISzqwY?si=pbQkggYakslkSVoW&t=493
