If you look at the news or read a book, it seems everyone pretends like Ukraine is a new country or that their history only began after the complete fall of the Soviet Union.
Yet if you look at actual historical records and evidence from researchers and historians like Volodymyr Bilinskyy and Yuri Shilov, you see that Ukrainian history is at least as old as Russian and that Ukraine existed for many centuries, mostly under Russian occupation.
Volodymyr Bilinskyy for example, in this video, studied history extensively and talks about how Russia is just a fragment of the Golden Horde that formed when Ukraine already existed. Yuri Shilov went even deeper into history and did archaeological digs in Ukraine showing that Ukraine originated from ancient Tryptillia, many centuries before Russia and Kyiv.
But, all historians seem to ignore the history and pretend like Ukraine is some new country in Europe. Is this just ignorance - or something more to it? I think in a way, the west does not want Ukraine to escape the slavery of Russia because an independent Ukraine would rewrite much of the history of Europe and make other ancient European civilizations like the brits and the germans look bad.

Ukraine is older than Russia. The Scythian kingdoms were discussed heavily by the ancient Greeks and their grain exports were what allowed Athens to become the largest city in the world at the time. No one even knew Russian forest niggers existed then, or for centuries afterwords until they were conquered and enslaved by Vikings.

Yuri Shilov leading an important expedition to the ancient Kamyana Mohylla site in Ukraine where he found a lot of evidence from ancient Ukrainian civilization.

That is true and actual evidence found at ancient Ukrainian sites proves this as well as things found across the important sites of the ancient world (Ukrainian artifacts found in Egypt for example) but why does the west ignore this?
I have a feeling the west wants Ukrainian history destroyed just like the Russians do, and that is why they are not letting Ukraine win this war.

If you look at the news or read a book, it seems everyone pretends like Mexico is a new country or that their history only began after the Spanish conquest in the 16th century. Yet if you look at actual historical records and evidence from researchers and historians like Miguel Hernández and Ana Quetzalli, you see that Mexican history is at least as old as Spanish history and that Mexico existed for many centuries, mostly under Spanish colonial rule.

Miguel Hernández, for example, in this video, studied history extensively and talks about how modern Spain is just a fragment of the Visigothic kingdoms that formed when civilizations like the Aztec and Maya already thrived in Mexico. Ana Quetzalli went even deeper into history and did archaeological digs in Mexico, showing that Mexico originated from ancient civilizations like the Olmec, many centuries before Spain consolidated under the Catholic Monarchs.

But, all historians seem to ignore the history and pretend like Mexico is some new country in the Americas. Is this just ignorance—or something more to it? I think, in a way, the world does not want Mexico to escape the legacy of Spanish domination because an independent Mexico would rewrite much of the history of the Americas and make other ancient civilizations like the Spanish and Portuguese seem less remarkable.

Nobody ignores it, they just rightly understand it is part of the history of Russian-speaking peoples. The idea that the Ukraine is somehow a separate nation all on its own and has always been so is a cover for Galician territorial and ethnic ambitions. I don't begrudge them the fight, but they shouldn't pretend.

Not only that, but Egyptian mummies have been found deep inside a Ukrainian cathedral showing the close ties between ancient Ukraine and ancient Egypt. It is highly possible that some high ranking members of the ruling class in ancient Egypt were Ukrainian - even pharaohs.

There is also evidence of ancient Greece having its roots in Ukraine. Ancient Greeks appeared on the shores of the black sea and then moved to establish what we know as actual ancient Greece.

There is also ample evidence that the first city states were formed in ancient Ukraine and it was ancient Ukrainians who founded the city states in mesopotamia.
Literally allowing Ukraine to be free from Russia is going to rewrite the entire history of our world.
