Notice how it forms a catch-22 feedback loop? Control theory shows that systems with feedback either oscillate in a runaway loop (infinite money glitch) or stabilize and hold their position (never getting ahead). This is why it seems like every time you complain about these system failures, there's always one or two guys saying you just need to git gud. Because those are the 1 in a million case where the feedback went in the good direction. Once you start noticing these feedback dynamics in human society you start understanding the duality of man a lot better.
