For those wondering, the core issue is migrants illiterate in Spanish. You cannot teach a migrant to read in English if there is no language to teach them in. If they can't read a Spanish book they can't read an ESL book. And this perpetuates because Americans who can speak both languages are often at a significant advantage over people who can read in one or the other. These people speak English and Spanish but can read in neither.

Public Education has made America stupid. Most kids could leave school at age 12 and be equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, if they were educated correctly. Most of school time is sitting in class waiting for something, being educated at the level of the lowest common denominator in the class, and learning absolutely ridiculous stupid shit that is completely irrelevant to life. This is all the fault of Bush Jr. "No child left behind" made funding based off how many students graduate to the next grade. The School system/unions took advantage of this by lowering the standards to the ground and then when that was not bringing in enough money, they started to handout extra "points" for existing while black/female/brown/faggy. To understand just how fucked up the school system is, it's becoming more and more common for Principals to be called "C.E.O". Because the school system has been high jacked by greedy fucks who want to extract as much money as they can while putting in little to no work. I'm not even talking about the actual teachers, im talking the people in charge either at the school or at the local education board.Teachers are a whole other shitshow. They are paid so poorly that the people who would be great teachers are going to private schools or just not working in education. So the majority of teachers now in days are people who don't give a shit and just want to get their retirement at this point, or they have alternate reasons to wanting to be a teacher. Like they just want to push their ideologies and not actually educate students on the most basic of shit such as reading beyond the basic of levels. Now some people who actually care and have the skill set to be a great teacher still get into the public education system but they have this odd habit of either leaving, getting drummed out by crazy lefties, or becoming one of those people who don't give a single fuck and just want to get paid.I hope Zion Don burns the whole system to the ground.
