I think Les Pauls are ugly as fuck but they are perfect as a first guitar. Simple bridge, easy tuning. Sort of bulletproof so you can focus on learning. Just be sure to find 24 frets instead of 22.

But if money weren't an issue I'd use the ES335, another hideously ugly guitar. They're just perfect.

chinese guitars suck. They look nice but as soon as you play them, you know a chink jew built it. The action is always way too high and the frets buzz like a beehive. USA or Japanese guitars are expensive for a reason: they are actually playable. Chink frets are always way too scratchy as well and their fretwire is bogus.

It's a joke.

He could easily sell a Fender Stratocaster knockoff as Fender never filed or lost their rights to the design patent on a Stratocaster.

Guitars are like bicycles or guns in that they're modular. You can custom built on from the ground up. Because of modern tech, all it really involves is a basic ability to solder.

Something like that with a custom airbrush over a black background, double humbuckers and a rosewood fretboard with custom mother of pearl would be about $3000.

For something that lasts decades that's pretty cheap, imo. (A standard american Strat is 1500 usd, even cheaper)

>>
>>489047672
Ive done various studies about fret surface finish: 150 grit scratches can be smoother than a polished fret if done correctly. This particular guitar had better tribology than a fresh out of the box polished chink guitar, which felt like i was literally rubbing sandpaper when bending strings. chinks and jews cannot understand surface finish because it takes more work for something that isnt going to change that much visually; the player ends up with scratchy frets if extra steps arent taken and chinks/jews cut corners instead of making things right.
>>
>>489047721
Absolutely false. Made in China gretsch streamliners and electromatics play perfectly. It depends on the maker
>>
>>489047536
Finnbro, I don't know how to break it to you but without your 28% value added tax I can walk into any mall record store and get a Fender Stratocaster Professional II for $1500 pictures of George Washington.

I'll trade you a strat for a full moose pelt including the head and antlers. Save 28%, we all profit.
>>
>>489047672
>>489048267
On this guitar, the Frets were left at 150 grit with scratches properly taken care of. Smoother than a chinese polished fret by a wide margin.

>>
>>48904810
>>489048285
With fret leveling they can be decent, but they neglect that at the factory. Its far too hit and miss with chink guitars.
>>
I’m not a guitar fag, I these guitars really that bad?
>>
>>489048497
Unironically if they spent as much time (but they lack the iq) to level the frets like Gibson or Fender, the 500 extra would make sense. It takes grit to level frets, something that jews and chinks lack.
>>
Guitars are too advanced for jews and chinks to produce. They should stick to making cheap plastic trinkets.

Impossible to say without seeing in person, but they certainly don't look great. It's not that hard to make a decent electric guitar, but the heart and soul of an electric guitar is in the electronics. In this case the heart and soul are likely some of the cheapest components they could find, soldered together by 9 year old Ling-Ling.
>>
>>489048646
If youre good, you can make any (working) guitar sing, however a better guitar can and will bring out the best in you while allowin you to play more comfortably.
>>
>>489048527

>>
why does he do this shit? the coins, the "digital trading cards" the shoes, the bibles, the watches, you can go on and on.

at most he's making a few million from these various stupid shit products he's selling, what does he need that money for when he has billions? What is the motive or incentive to sell people such shitty products branded with MAGA? I just don't get it.

All these things are is Trump licensing his name and likeness to some other shell company to make these shitty products to sell them, and Trump essentially gets a cut of the profits for licensing his name. The people actually running these scams are the ones making most of the money not Trump. So why does he do it? Why give his name and likeness to some random chinese companies to make this trash?

Any decently crafted guitar has the potential to play good with a proper fret leveling but its often cheaper to get a guitar that was leveled by a White person at the factory than it is to buy a chink jew guitar then have to find a luthier thatll charge an arm and a leg to do the fretworking.
I was the head luthier at sam ash for 17 years until they shut down our store. We had the best guitars because we'd work on them and people would travel to visit our store.

Import guitar making changed a lot after lockdown. They could not keep up with orders, made short cuts and waved through issues they never would have before. Because people stuck in were going guitar buying crazy.

>>489053053
Indonesia is considered good quality now & all manufacturers including the $4-5k Fender or Gibson ones are done on a CNC anyway because CNC produce the QC that is required. Of course it's down to the final finishing &.But when a setup can only cost say £200 & you can get it plexed for that price it sort of makes a joke about paying these prices for something as simple as a guitar, it's basic line manufacturing. Leo Fender made bolt on guitars because they were easy to manufacture & use cheap wood like pine for hte bodies. You really don';t need to spend more than £200 for a good guitar now, £600 is pretty much the limit.

Photos not even taken at the same points, 12 fret on the chang guitar, near the body on the jewmerica guitar, also look at how thick the bas string on the left guitar is compared to the thin strings on the right. That resonance is just energy from the strings being absorbed into the wood. The pickups only detect the vibrations of the strings so it doesn't matter what unique "resonance" your guitar body has because none of it gets converted into an electronic signal.

>>
>>489060308
>or, are you trying to argue with physics?
no I am agreeing with physics in that it won't alter the tone as only the pickups can do that. As for the sustain then you are getting into something else, like what the nut is made of, how well cut the nut is, what the bridge is made from (new Gibson's have lightweight cast mental bridges). What strings are used, what pick is used or what angle you attack it or if you use your finger of a fingernail. The ultimate test of course is for a load of recordings done with the same strings, nut & bridge & use different woods. You won't be able to tell the difference & won't be able to match even if given a list.

A Yamaha Super Flighter SF500 which is heavy as it has a mahogany body is even though bolt is superior to any shit Gibson was putting out in the late 70's. The joke of course is all the heroes that were playing o nthe classic songs in the 60's 70's 80's were playing pretty cheap models & Fender after CBS bought them put out some crap. I don't care if people want to justify paying over $1k for an electric guitar. If they feel the need to do so & soem do it because they have enough spare cash floating around to do it. Yes all the guitars I bought I could have saved that money & bought one expensive guitars & probably a few. But to be honest if I wanted to spend lots of money on a guitar it would be an acoustic or classical guitar, that of course is justified.
>>
>>489060807
>it won't alter the tone as only the pickups can do that.
the other anon (way back in the thread) said that you get different overtones, depending on what wood is used. those overtones will affect the way that the string vibrates, which will in turn affect what the pickups pickup.
are you arguing that the vibrating solid chunk of wood has zero effect on the string? if so, then that's where i'm saying you're dead wrong, from a physics point of view.

it has been tested using equipment & it makes a negligible effect because the strings are not attached to the wood, they are attached to a bridge & nut & of course the frets when playing. Of course the way a string vibrates can effect the tone because if you play on open string or play the fretted string even the same note it will be different due to scale length & the string vibration will be different. The same if you play from a finger or with a pick or fingernail. They are audible differences, you will not be able to tell the difference regarding what the body or neck is made from however. sustain will change because it's due to a feedback effect on the string which makes it vibrate longer, not really relevant to guitar playing becuase no one is going to let a string vibrate long enough for it to be relevent.

>>the heart and soul of an electric guitar is in the electronics
>What a fucking retard lmao
now, i don't know about you, but i think that the "heart and soul" of just about anything good in the world (cars, girls, guitars, songs, beers, foodetc.) comes down to those non-zero "negligibly" different characteristics. and some people can probably discern the difference in electric guitar tone, depending on the body's wood.

They could charge anything they want
$5k per guitar would sell too cause Trumptards are retarded

the first test

he wouldnt sell 2500 $5k guitars

Negligible:
>so small or unimportant as to be not worth considering; insignificant.
You're really coping with this one.
>>
>>489063837
>What part of that video exactly do you think supports your assertion?
it's actually the opposite, dude: the video in no way supports your assertion that wood vibrations do not cause strings to vibrate.

the trumo sumowrestler by yamaha-ha?
>>
>>489063980
it's non zero because the bridge & neck are fixed on to something & non zero because it takes scientific equipment to measure that non zero effect. Your ears won't be able to tell the difference, maybe you can ask your dog or cat tho.

>the first test
Ok, so you didn't actually watch the whole video. The "first test" is comparing a cheap parts guitar to an expensive one, and then he gradually swaps components and isolates variables until they sound identical even when the parts are bolted down to a work bench.
>>
I know idiots in other bands I see around my area who would pay that much for one of these pos's.
>>
>>489064122
>he wouldnt sell 2500 $5k
Oh yes he would
You could attach Trump's name to a rock and sell it for 100k
>>
>>489064357
>umm, actually there's a peice of wood in the same room next to the workbench guitar, so that means the wood is still making a difference
>>
Should I buy one and resell it in 20 years?
>>
>>489064479
>cheap parts guitar to an expensive one
no it's not
first test is after he swaps the pickup to the same one
>>
>>489064814
for that money just buy an actual Gibson and then resell it in 20 years for more.
>>
>>489064814
Yeah

Meh I play corts which are another Korean brand and I have no complaints on them. Great bang for buck

>so small or unimportant as to be not worth considering; insignificant.
i don't think there's an objective determination of what qualities of sound are insignificant. maybe you and i can't hear the difference, but that doesn't mean that no one else can.
>>
>>489064893
i'll let you in on a secret
if you buy 100 $100 bills 20 years ago you would be able to sell them for $18000 today
>>
>>489064853
And then he continued to isolate variables like pickup height until they were the same even when installed to a 2x4 piece of pine, or a workbench. The electronics are the heart and soul of an electric guitar. The wood is just there for ergonomics, and looks.

his pal the nuge should give it a test riff run by the spirit campfire

>Your ears won't be able to tell the difference
i agree that my ears probably can't hear the difference, but i don't think that means that no one else in the world can hear the difference.
>>
>>489065145
ok i can literally abx the air guitar vs 2x4 but the thread is dead in a minute
>>
>>489065024
So are you ready to admit that the electronics are the heart and soul of an electric guitar, and the wood is not?
>>
>>489065128
64 Kennedy halfs are worth $32.
