But the audiobook, read by Roy Dotrice, is the way to go.
Telling ya: Bliss!
Long, sustained Bliss. A month+ of listening, non-stop. And so complicated, you can listen a hundred times and still be discovering details. Trust me. Honestly, it's my Calgon. (I mean in addition to my, yknow, actual 'Calgon'? God, I love Calgon!!!!)
But yeah
Pure, fantastical bliss. Blah blah blah.
And basically all he did was rewrite Western history so its fun n funny to see all the real life connections. And Roy Dotrice is such a great narrator. Love drifting off to sleep listening to that tweedy, wizened duffer do like a thousand voices and hearing him fuck up occasionally is funny as well to me..
