The electorate of any sanctuary jurisdiction can vote to change policies or vote out sanctuary politicians. Illegal immigrants will move to sanctuary states. In states that enforce US immigration law any interaction with law enforcement will result in the illegal immigrant being detained. The jurisdiction detaining the illegal immigrant will contact Immigration & Customs Enforcement. ICE will coordinate transfer of the detainee to an ICE detention center. Processing will be completed quickly and the detainee will be placed on the other side of the US border.
