So I went out with my buddies for a nice dinner last night and it was great. Except when the check came the bill was 197.96 and I tipped this guy 25 bucks. 25 dollars is a lot to some people for a tip and I think it was more than fair for an hour dinner. Next thing I know he puts it back on the table saying he only accepts 18-20%. I thought what the hell, I'm not obligated to tip and I felt very disrespected. Like if I'm gonna give you free money then just take it, don't ask for more.
I would have taken it back and given him NOTHING.
>>489072689Minimum tip on $200 is $30. He was wrong to whine though. You should have given him nothing.
>>489072689>redditgo back
>>489073047Minimum tip is zero
>>489072689where i live, starting pay is close to half of that at a factory per hour, and you paid him that for what was likely 1/4 hour of work on your table. let's assume he's waiting on 5 other parties and each of them tipped him $25 then he's making over $100/h - for waiting on tables. dude has no right to complain. 20% tips made more sense when you could take your family out to eat for under $100.
489073047Have a minimum (you), xoomer
>>489072689>Well here's $20 then, if you say another word it will be zeroThink quicker and slap him back.
Only niggers don't tip
>>489072689>only 18-20Lmao, thank God I stopped eating out before this shit happened. I would usually do 15, but now they all get 0 because I stay at home.
>>489072689I work at a restaurant and we call people that don't tip Canadians.
>>489076560>CanadiansSo indians?
>>489072689$40 Moshe. Divide by 10 and double it.
>>489072689So what did you tip him in the end?
