Is there better foundation of moral system than Ubermensch embrace of challenges and will to power?I am concerned that Trump victory is just a latent period of acute sickness of western society. And it's just a treatment of symptoms and not the sickness itself:Since the death of God, primary goal for individual is considered happiness, but happiness itself is dictated by limbic system. The problem is that what we tend to want is to rest and digest, avoid stress and challenges. However without true challenges, which individual can't control he becomes less resilient and more mediocre. Simple examples are avoidance of (what one finds unnecessary) responsibility whether in career or in parenting. It all leads to what Nietzsche called Last Man. And the majority of leftists is just a bit ahead of majority of rightists and not fundamentally different, since this degeneracy of "I will live my life how I want, not how I must" is present for both sides of a political spectrum, especially in atheists. And if you want to know how it will end, you can read "Thus spoke Zarathustra". It's uncanny how modern society resembles Last men
>>489077251The Ubermensch is cool but isn't there more to Nietzsche?
>>489077251nietzsche ahd a mental breakdown and died early because nihilism is silly. The best moral system is the golden rule and the way to success is to be frugal and save and invest in the broad market funds in a tax deferred account and ensure your children dont get into debt early in life
No. Morality, ideas, spooks, whatever you want to call them, by definition must be inferior to the men that created them. The thoughts of great men are superior to the being of lesser men, but the crisis of our times, tellingly, is not one of lesser men; it's the suffocation of higher men. Higher men castrated spiritually and even physically by the wordsperm of lesser beings. Semites, orientals, physical communists and so on.
>>489077251Jungs indivuation and selfactualisation theory together with Rogerian psych and ofcourse the foundation of Nietzsche is key. Nietzsche alone isnt enough to achieve what you want, nietzsche tells you WHY you must strive towards your best most authentic self, Jung teaches you HOW
>>489077432I've recently dive deep into it. I've read his geneology of morale, and he does not give the answer what moral system is the best. Both slave and master morality sucks, because first one succumbed to second, and second leads to Last Men. At least how I understand it.He conceptualized direction in Ubermensch, but did not give solution
>>489077251hey nietzsche posting fag, how do you feel about so called "high trust societies"?
>>489077634Yes. But how to deal with it. How to if not defeat it, but preserve aspiration to excellence within small groups?
>>489077848Mhm. Scandinavia. What breakthroughs scandinavian societies provided? They are mediocre in innovation, suffer of low birth rate and are replaced by browns. You find this acceptable?
>>489077759I'm in the shallow end of Nietzsche's pool. I don't think he'd prescribe some system as the "best one."
>>489078158or shitzerland. just asking because a lot of the fags fawning over the so called "high trust societies" have also a thing for nieztsche and they don't see the contradiction. crying over le birth rate and le brown is also a pretty faggy unnietzschean thing
>>489078465It is not the problem for me personally, but it leads to lower intelligence and standards and what's worse acceptance of it. I am against acceptance of weakness and resentiment towards nore capable
>>489078465Progressives love trannies and oppressed minorities in general. And call wealthy and people in power evil. Why? And more importantly what such moral system will lead to?
>>489078988people with power are "evil", you can either accept your subservience to them like a slave or fight them, it's a struggle of the wills, nothing wrong with that
>>489079375On the first sight yes. But the problem is anti-affirmation of this morality (slave morality): "Those who oppress me are evil, and I am not like them, hence I am good", "Strength is bad, I am weak hence I am good". It requires strong enemy to oppose to feel yourself good. While for master morality it's "I am good, because I am strong, weak are neither good or evil -- they are useful"
>>489077251>Is there better foundation of moral system than Ubermensch embrace of challenges and will to power?yes, the updated version that is national socialism
>>489080680Then why it failed. If it failed, it is not good. And I don't see any signs of its revival and strength rn
>>489080680They are failing rn mostly because reality is very different from their expectations. And there is no serious plan of actions for achieving its goal
>>489080840The issue is you're not supposed to post about Nietzsche in political discussion. Read him, gain some insights, move on.
>>489080840>Then why it failed. If it failed, it is not goodin only twelve years manage to fight the entire world, A global alliance was needed to defeat it>And I don't see any signs of its revival and strength rneither you are a newfag or a kike or a shill
>>489081094I just thought that some may find this problem intriguing. And that I would be able to touch some grass rather than having these thoughts in my head
