They use it as a way to weed out candidates when they have hundreds of applicants. Even though majority of people don't even end up in the job that the degree focuses on. You can have the perfect candidate but they can only interview 5-10 people and have to choose for that small pool. A person could be perfect for the role but because they are bad at interviews, they will never get the opportunity.

After the massive tech layoffs the last 2-3 years, it's become an employers market. Hundreds of thousands laid off of GOOD paying jobs that can pay for a home and car. Now gone. So you have people willing to do the job even though they are twice as experienced and should have had a higher role.

Only hope is Trump removed all those drilling/oil regulations, then gasoline prices drop and then hopefully food and other services drop their prices or at least stay the same from the massive inflation. Only then do people have more money to spend, thus reviving the economy. More money for people to invest, more money to start businesses and drive up competition. Then you have more job opportunities.

Why would gas prices drop? The US has produced more oil in the last few years than at any point prior, OPEC has priced oil cheaper than its been in the past, yet gas prices are high. Side note petroleum companies have made record profits for something like 18 consecutive quarters. So why is gas expensive again?.

Trump isn't going to change shit because the inflation isn't under his control and with most of your population having debt raising the rates is out of question too. You just have to ride the high prices until wages catch up.

Jut look at Biden's executive orders in his first month. Banned new drilling on federal land including offshore drilling. Cancelled the XL pipeline. How much do you think it costs to store those pipes that haven't been installed and have the project stall for 4 years? It all adds to the cost. That's why when Trump was president, we were the highest producer of oil.

>Source: According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the U.S. remained the world's top producer of petroleum and natural gas hydrocarbons in 2017, reaching a record high.

The United States was the world's highest producer of oil in 2017, producing 13.1 million barrels per day (bpd). Sure you can say we drilled 12 million barrels in 2023 but instead if increasing every year to higher heights, we've plateaued due to these executive orders.

some degrees prove you are smart (some degrees are worthless)

its also smart to do a high paying trade

only dummies are poor either way
>>
>>489082293
it has nothing to do with the work
it proves you will accept slave work and slave wages and slave tongue 100/100 times
or do the slave work? no we already made everything, it's time for richfags to chokeup their debt

global govs spending too much drove that inflation

print money and hand it to people = inflation

>You just have to ride the high prices until wages catch up.
lol that may not happen.... it could just be we are poorer now than before

"They" just didn't like the questions that I would ask. So they just forced me on medz until I dropped out.

none of this ever happens ever, what will happen is a 30 year depression that continues to be chart green while you die of chemical bliss on corn syrup food and choking to death from spics driving circles around your house with broken carburetors
just producing gas doesnt lower the price of anything, we have to sell it internationally to get the 36 trillion we took down so we can start to invest in ourselves instead of paying the interest on it

It doesn't prove you can do the work, it proves you're willing to put yourself through years of humiliation ritual. It proves you're submissive.
