Using the men's bathroom isn't so bad. Often times I get misgendered for being too feminine and have gotten accused of being in the wrong bathroom, which I find affirming. Im just a 5'7 slim femboy on HRT with very fem features, long hair, and wear girly clothes. I received compliments from men at large public bathrooms like the ones in an airport or gym about my appearance. It's funny to see their reaction when I walk up to a urinal right next to them and handle my business. What's interesting to note is that I get approached and complimented mostly by conservative-looking men... or maybe I'm just stereotyping -- i dont know, just a gut feeling. Anyways I've never felt threatened or unsafe when using the men's bathroom. It's been a really comfy, pleasant, and satisfying experience.I don't have a firm stance on the politics regarding the genders & public bathroom issue, but I couldn't care much about it either. Im just sharing my perspective.
