Ever wonder why CO2 is always blamed for anything that happens or doesnt happen with the climate?
It's because the powers that be know a climate cataclysm is inevitable, so they brainwash the public by funding that bullshit so when something does actually happen people think "Oh, I guess those concerns were right". And then people feel more open to totalitarian control because "Look what extremist capitalism has done... We clearly should have some guidelines for this because we can't have this happen again!"
And of course CO2 is chosen as the boogeyman since it's required for life on earth.

Then the same bullshit gets fed into government funded AI model training datasets, so it's like a cancer that wont ever go away. Perhaps when every search engine is an AI search engine because regular search engines are ruined, you wont ever hear a mention of "alternate ideas" because that would be too libertarian.
Also those same governments that invest in all that are the only ones with storage that could survive in a cataclysm - arctic bunker seed vaults, cutting edge storage media, etc. While we have taxes on storage.

All that looks very convenient for powers that only want their models for civilization to survive.
