its still way cheaper to hire pajeets
>>
What happens to all the jeets in the western world when everyone gets replaced by ai?
>>
>>492015782
Oh no, all those poor redeemers
>>
>>492016258
idk but i dont get how ai is supposed to be some existential threat, the system will collapse before millions and millions starve in america. theyll probably just make more fake jobs to maintain the status quo.
>>
Wake me when the AI wipes out all Indians
>>
>>492015782
How much does it cost though?
Some of these tasks require an enormous amount of computing power getting quite expensive, quite quickly.
Humans can be cheap meat bags comparatively.

Its going to be this, we're entering infinite lifespan brain in a jar levels of tech

Crypto tech, AI, the Internet, Data Storage etc all require ever increasing amounts of energy to keep running, and expanding. This is multiple branches of our tech tree which have an unlimited demand for energy.

We hit peak oil on 2012 and peak minerals in 2020. We have been in resource wars for 20 years now. 30 if you count the Gulf War.

We do not have unlimited energy resources and have not built anywhere nearly enough to expand like this.

Brick wall is inevitable.

Stone Age 2.0 incoming patch update.

THis is sure useful

not really. they fuck up too much. Total pajeet unemployment.

We have enough if we used our resources to their highest potential. Extract thorium from coal for LFTRs and then use the coal to create synthetic hydrocarbon fuels and materials. All doable with long existing tech. Canada is doing a lot of work on molten salt reactors https://www.terrestrialenergy.com/
Next Gen fission reactors are the only hope for the future, solar and wind are fucking memes
>>
>>492023770
Well that sounds ideal, but given how much our leaders have fucked up every possible other futuristic tech along the way, they will probably fuck this up too.

companies are buying old nuclear reactors
