Last night, Russia again attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Russia launched more than 70 missiles at Ukraine's energy infrastructure last night, including a large number of ballistic missiles and about 450 drones.

The strikes targeted Kyiv and the region, as well as the Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Vinnytsia regions.

At night, the temperature in Ukraine is minus 25°C.
Millions of people, including hundreds of thousands of children, have been left without heating and electricity in the bitter cold.

Russia continues its genocide of Ukrainians.

Ukraine's skies need to be protected - to close them where possible and provide more air defense systems.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, speaking in the Ukrainian Parliament in Kyiv today:

◾ Some European allies have announced that they will deploy troops to Ukraine after a deal is reached. Troops on the ground, jets in the air, ships on the Black Sea. The United States will be the backstop. Others have vowed to support in other ways.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte:

NATO stands with Ukraine. This was true before Russia's full-scale invasion, this was true on the 24th of February 2022, and it has been true every single day since.

Putin has long thought he could wait us out, that Ukraine was weak, that your supporters would grow weary, that our will would falter. He was gravely mistaken. Ukraine is strong, and our support is unwavering.

I do recognize that a focus on other global events might have caused concern that our attention might be divided at the moment you needed our support more acutely than ever - as the temperatures plummeted, attacks on your energy infrastructure intensified, and the talks to bring this terrible war to a lasting end continued.

But I want to assure you that our attention has not been diverted. Ukraine is and will remain essential to our security, and our commitment to supporting Ukraine is steadfast.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte:

The attack is, indeed, terrible. Over 70 missiles and 450 drones. It might even be the worst attack on Ukraine ever, but at least it is somewhere in the top two or top three.

And it's happening in the middle of winter. This is not for military purposes, this is just creating chaos for innocent citizens by hitting a civilian infrastructure.

The President of Ukraine is absolutely ready to play ball, to come to a deal with the Russians, which has to be acceptable for all parties, and particularly for Ukraine. But this [attack] makes you question whether the Russians are serious. Last night is a really bad signal.

The city of Dnipro suffered the largest Russian missile and drone attack: over 8,000 people were left without heating.

An energy infrastructure facility was also damaged. In total, damage has been reported at five locations across the city.

"In one of Dnipro’s districts, there is currently no heating. Energy workers, heating specialists, and municipal services are working to restore heating as quickly as possible in the buildings that remain without it. This affects around 8,600 customers," officials reported.

In Kyiv, more than 1,100 homes remain without heating across two districts. Last night, Russian strikes damaged a facility that provides heat to these homes, the mayor said.

Medvedev praised North Korea for its achievments and said Russia should learn from it:

"You asked what we can learn from them. First and foremost, it is how to organize a rapid and efficient mobilization of a country’s economic capabilities - not large, but nevertheless - even under total blockade, and to build a serious defense industry that enables our Korean friends to protect their homeland. This commands great respect.

We are grateful for the contribution the Koreans made, fighting shoulder to shoulder with our soldiers, fighting heroically. This will never be forgotten and will forever remain a part of the chronicle of our relationship, of our friendship," he said.

President Trump was "unsurprised" by Russia's attack on Ukraine.

[Q]:
President Trump was talking yesterday about how President Putin had agreed to a week-long halt on attacks on Ukraine because of the cold weather, but today we've seen that Russia has launched some of the heaviest attacks this month. What's your reaction to that?

[White House Spokesperson]:
Yeah, I spoke with the President about it this morning and his reaction was unfortunately unsurprised.

These are two countries who have been engaged in a very brutal war for several years, a war that would have never started if the President were still in office.

True heroes don't wear capes.

Ukrainian Defender Pavlo spent five days in a cold, destroyed dugout near Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, in minus 20°C temperatures with shattered legs, surviving on nothing but snow.

While waiting for evacuation, he applied tourniquets and even directed fire at Russian forces, relaying information to a command observation post.

In addition to a right leg shattered by shrapnel, Pavlo has fragmentation wounds to his left leg and pelvis, as well as severe frostbite on his feet.

Russia is freezing Ukraine and doesn't care about its own citizens.

In January, there were more than 1,700 reports of accidents in Russia that left people without electricity, gas, and water, according to Novaya Gazeta Europe.

In the first month of 2026, there were 723 reports of power outages, 552 reports of heating outages, and 513 reports of water outages. A total of 1,778 cases were publicly reported, compared to 983 in January 2025.

Belgorod (143) and Murmansk (105) regions and the Krasnodar Krai (138 cases) are among the leaders. Residents go without water for weeks, melting snow to obtain it; they store food from defrosted refrigerators outside, live in apartments where the temperature is only 10°C, warm themselves with gas stoves, and stock up on generators.

The key reason is equipment deterioration. Deterioration of networks in Russia has reached an average of 40%, and in some regions as high as 80%, leading to frequent breakdowns. At the same time, only 2% of the infrastructure is renewed annually, although twice as much is needed just to halt deterioration, Russian officials say.

Instead of making the lives of his people better, Putin chooses to spend billions on making Ukrainian lives hell.

: residents of Russian Engels are begging Russian authorities for help as they have no heating and hot water in extreme cold.
Ironically, Engels has the airfield from which Russian strategic aviation takes off to attack Ukrainian energy infrastructure and plunge Ukraine into cold and darkness.

PM Tusk on Epstein: it is very likely that this was a planned operation by the Russian KGB.

More and more leads are pointing to suspicions that this unprecedented pedophilia scandal was co-organized by Russian intelligence services.

There are over a thousand documents directly concerning Vladimir Putin in the documents published so far. Nine thousand concerning Moscow. I am talking about the Russian political environment. The FBI claims that it had information that Mr. Epstein managed part of Vladimir Putin's assets.

More and more commentators and experts assume that it is very likely that this was a planned operation by the Russian KGB. The so-called honey trap, a sweet lure, a trap set for the elites of the Western world, mainly the United States.

Also, according to The Times, Epstein had been planning meetings with Putin several times.

Christopher Steele, a former head of MI6’s Russia desk:

"My understanding from my American sources is that as early as the 1970s, Epstein was effectively involved with Russian organized crime in Brighton Beach in New York and through them with the Russian mission in New York and was almost certainly recruited by them at that time,"

Russia’s oil and gas revenues halved in January compared to the same month of last year, reaching their lowest level since July 2020, Reuters reports.

Revenues totaled 393.3 billion rubles (about $5.10 billion) in January, significantly lower both compared with the same period last year and with December, when revenues reached 447.8 billion rubles. The main reasons for the decline were falling global oil prices and a stronger ruble.

Oil and gas revenues remain a key source of funding for Russia’s federal budget, accounting for nearly a quarter of total income. At the same time, the budget is under significant pressure due to high defense and security spending following the launch of the full-scale war against Ukraine in February 2022. By the end of 2025, Russia’s budget deficit stood at 5.6 trillion rubles (~ $71.8 billion), or 2.6% of GDP.

In 2026, Russian authorities expect to receive 8.92 trillion rubles (~ $114.4 billion) from oil and gas sales, while total federal budget revenues are projected at 40.283 trillion rubles (roughly $516 billion). Meanwhile, in 2025, oil and gas revenues had already fallen by 24% to 8.48 trillion rubles (~ $108.7 billion) - also the lowest level since 2020.

Russia is waging a hybrid war against Poland.

This war resembles a series of small but regular "incidents" that layer over one another, gradually creating the sense that the state is constantly "putting out fires," while society grows tired and polarized.

▪ The most visible tool is the Belarusian direction, which gives Moscow a strategic advantage: pressure can be applied harshly yet with plausible deniability ("it’s Minsk," "it’s smugglers, "it’s a migration crisis").

The longest-running and the largest-scale scenario is the instrumentalization of migration at the border, with migrants - mostly from Asian countries - being systematically brought to the Polish border by Belarusian services.

According to data compiled from Polish border statistics, 30,090 attempted illegal crossings from Belarus were recorded in 2024 (+16% compared to about 26,000 in 2023). This amount remained roughly the same in 2025, meaning that pressure has remained consistently high for the second year in a row.

At the beginning of 2026, a new trend emerged that looks like a joke at the first glance: balloons carrying cigarettes across the Polish border. However, such tactics are perfect for hybrid warfare - they are cheap, frequent, unsettling for the population, and draining for security services.

On January 29, 2026, Poland’s Operational Command temporarily restricted airspace over part of the Podlaskie Voivodeship after such objects entered from Belarus.

On February 2, 2026, the Associated Press reported it was the third consecutive night that balloons had crossed into Polish airspace; the military explicitly described them as "hybrid incidents" and did not rule out a reconnaissance component.

>part 1

>>528570933
You have people on the ground? I can imagine you have people on the ground, no, I don't even have to imagine your people on the ground, stay warm.
>>
>>528571511
>Russia is waging a hybrid war against Poland.

Meanwhile, Lithuania reported a surge in similar incidents; The Washington Post cited an example of "42 balloons in a single night" over Lithuania - a scale that increasingly suggests a systemic phenomenon rather than "routine smuggling."

Their volume points to the testing of response procedures. In the future, the "cargo" could be changed to something far more dangerous than cigarettes - keeping the border in a constant state of irritation.

▪ The second line of effort is pressure on Poland’s internal resilience - targeting infrastructure, logistics, and institutions.

The most tangible example were the destructive cyberattacks on December 29, 2025.

According to Reuters, Polish officials and CERT Polska described it as one of the most serious waves in recent years: the attack affected 30 renewable energy facilities, a manufacturing company, and a key heating plant supplying nearly 500,000 consumers. It occurred during a period of snowfall and low temperatures.

Those responsible were never definitively identified, although Polish authorities linked the attack to the FSB / "Berserk Bear (Dragonfly)" group - illustrating the very "greyness" that complicates a political response.

▪ The third line involves sabotage and preparations for subversive operations.

This includes a series of cases involving recruitment, reconnaissance of facilities, arson, and the use of "one-off" operatives.

On October 21, 2025, Polish PM Tusk reported the arrest of eight suspects across different regions believed to be preparing acts of sabotage, including surveillance of military sites and critical infrastructure.

On August 13, 2025, Reuters wrote about a group of six individuals accused of carrying out sabotage on behalf of foreign intelligence services.

Ah, didn't they have mummies too? Russians certainly have their share of mummies xD
>>
>>528571511
>Russia is waging a hybrid war against Poland.
>>528571550

Another telling detail tied specifically to the "Belarusian dimension" emerged on August 18, 2025: Reuters reported charges against a Belarusian citizen for allegedly planning to set fire to a warehouse in eastern Poland "for the benefit of a foreign intelligence service."

▪ Finally - the human factor and infiltration.

On February 3, 2026, reports surfaced about the detention of a Polish Ministry of Defense employee suspected of cooperating with Russian intelligence (with some publications also mentioning Belarusian services).

This matters not only as an isolated case: in hybrid warfare, a single "insider" can provide access, schemes, and contacts - dramatically increasing the effectiveness of other tools.

Put together, a simple formula emerges:

Belarus maintains constant pressure and "noise" at the border (migration + aerial incidents) Russia strikes infrastructure and the sense of security (cyber sabotage, arson, covert networks) simultaneously, infiltration and information operations transform incidents into political crises.

The result is precisely the effect Moscow is betting on: exhaustion, distrust, polarization, and a weakening of resilience.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on peace talks: items that remain are the most difficult ones. Meanwhile, the war continues.

"I don't want to say that talks alone are progress, but it's good that there's engagement going on. I would also caution everyone that on things like this - because there is a lot of sensitivity involved in it - progress is probably not going to be known, even via leaks, until we really have a breakthrough. Our goal's to remain committed. We've committed a year to this. We think we've made real progress.

If you look at the checklist of open items that existed at this time last year, and the checklist of open items that remain now, in terms of reaching a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, that list has been substantially diminished. That's the good news.

The bad news is that the items that remain are the most difficult ones. And meanwhile the war continues."

Another horrific Russian crime against Ukrainian civilians.

Russian forces killed a married couple who were trying to leave the occupied village of Hrabovske, Sumy region. The family had made it halfway when they were attacked by Russian drones.

"First the Russians killed Valentyna Klochkova, 52, flying an FPV kamikaze drone into her lap as she sat upright on a sledge, already wounded. Her husband had been pulling her along the frozen lane leading west from their village in an effort to escape the advance. The blast tore her apart. Her husband Valerii, 54, knelt beside her body. He never left her side," The Sunday Times wrote.

"The Russian military clearly saw these people. There was a person on the other side of that drone controlling it and striking them. I believe they even recognized their faces - they had been there long enough to see everything. My relatives walked seven kilometers on foot; Russians knew exactly who they were targeting.

There are simply no words to describe the kind of people who could sit behind a control panel and do this to unarmed civilians. I just want the world to see who the Russians are really fighting against," Oleksandr Klochkov, Valerii’s nephew shared.

Deepest condolences...

: the couple had been teenage sweethearts and were married for 33 years.

Putin was surprised that the US imposed "very tough sanctions" against Russia's largest oil companies, Lukoil and Rosneft, Lavrov said.

"We agreed in Anchorage that Russia supported the United States' proposal for a comprehensive settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. After that, we expected the US to confirm that 'Now, since you agree with our proposal, let's announce something...' But suddenly, sanctions were imposed on Lukoil and Rosneft," he said in an interview with Russia Today.

Also, according to Lavrov, following the US operation in Venezuela, there are "open attempts" to get Russian companies out of the country.

I translated a few more of the "Z-bloggers'" complaints for you:

"The Starlink situation has turned out badly. And so has Musk. As the godfather finished his cucumber, he concluded with anguish: 'Turns out our father wasn’t a father at all, but a bastard...'
Though it’s not entirely clear what we were doing during all those years when Musk turned a blind eye to the Russian Armed Forces using Starlink. Presumably, some preparations were made for a shutdown. Maybe a 'Plan B' was worked out."

"As the saying goes, not until the roasted rooster pecks you in the *ss...
Starlinks are down after all...
And we have barely any communications system of our own - and what little there is costs an arm and a leg."

"A betrayal of cosmic proportions. We were lied to.
Communications have disappeared across all Russian Armed Forces units. Right now, everything has reverted to the early days of the 'special military operation' in 2022, when there was zero coordination between units - which led to well-known results. Let me remind you that just before the 'SMO,' Roscosmos was working on building a satellite communications constellation - for the United Kingdom. Roscosmos launched more than 400 communications satellites for OneWeb, which are now, among other things, being used to strike Russia."

>Since last night, Russian "Z-war correspondents" complain that Russia's Starlink satellite terminals are turned off.

"In reality, the problem isn’t Musk or Trump.
They weren’t the ones who effectively hooked the entire army at the front on the technology of a direct adversary, making the Russian Armed Forces dependent on a single master switch located in Washington.
They weren’t the ones who, for years, did absolutely nothing to change this - to develop even a rough equivalent or find an alternative means of access.
They weren’t the ones who treated the situation as normal for years, using Starlink and assuming it would always be available - as if satellite internet were universal, like air.
Most likely, what we’re seeing now is just one stage in countering the Russian army’s use of Starlink, since not everything - and not everyone - has been disconnected. But once Ukrainian terminal whitelists are fully operational, it’s still unclear how they could be bypassed.
Even if a temporary workaround is found, this entire situation is not just a wake-up call - it’s a massive blow to the tsar bell."

Today, Nazar Daletskyi, a Ukrainian Defender from Lviv region, returned from Russian captivity.

Nazar has been presumed dead for a long time. Today, his family had the happiest news and spoke with Nazar!

Thanks, @elonmusk!
Great job, @FedorovMykhailo!

After Starlink terminals were turned off for Russians, they are experiencing serious problems on the frontline, especially in management. They had to stop assaults at several areas at the front lines.
In some areas without great drone activity, Russians are trying to bring fiber optic to their positions. Some are trying to use Ukrainian cell towers, without any success.

Starlink was the foundation of a large part of Russian combat operations, integrating many alert groups and interactions within and between units. Furthermore, Russians equipped combat drones with Starlink terminals, which attacked critical infrastructure facilities in the Ukrainian rear.

Russian armed forces have no alternative for Starlink.

Instead of a thousand words.

This Warrior survived months and months of Russian captivity. The lady survived not knowing anything and worrying.

Today, they are finally together.

Yes. Did you not read my post completely?
Did you drink your whole daily ration of vodka already?

Absolutely. Ukrainians and Russians are the same shit, Pidor. Even Putin has said so many times.

The Washington Post had let a part of its team go, and the international department was hit the most. Ukrainian bureau of the Washington Post has also been significantly reduced. Thus, there will be less reporting about the war in Ukraine in the United States.

My support, gratitude and solidarity go to the journalists who have worked in Ukraine during these years, protected and supported Ukraine with their high-quality and dedicated job.

Thank you! That was a wonderful and critically important work.
You did a lot of good for the world.

President Trump: I have stopped Nuclear Wars from breaking out across the World, including Russia and Ukraine.

"The United States is the most powerful Country in the World. I completely rebuilt its Military in my First Term, including new and many refurbished nuclear weapons. I also added Space Force and now, continue to rebuild our Military at levels never seen before. We are even adding Battleships, which are 100 times more powerful than the ones that roamed the Seas during World War II — The Iowa, Missouri, Alabama, and others. I have stopped Nuclear Wars from breaking out across the World between Pakistan and India, Iran and Israel, and Russia and Ukraine. Rather than extend “NEW START” (A badly negotiated deal by the United States that, aside from everything else, is being grossly violated), we should have our Nuclear Experts work on a new, improved, and modernized Treaty that can last long into the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP"

President Trump: Viktor Orban has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election as Prime Minister of Hungary

"Highly Respected Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, is a truly strong and powerful Leader, with a proven track record of delivering phenomenal results. He fights tirelessly for, and loves, his Great Country and People, just like I do for the United States of America. Viktor works hard to Protect Hungary, Grow the Economy, Create Jobs, Promote Trade, Stop Illegal Immigration, and Ensure LAW AND ORDER! Relations between Hungary and the United States have reached new heights of cooperation and spectacular achievement under my Administration, thanks largely to Prime Minister Orban. I look forward to continuing working closely with him so that both of our Countries can further advance this tremendous path to SUCCESS and cooperation. I was proud to ENDORSE Viktor for Re-Election in 2022, and am honored to do so again. Viktor Orban is a true friend, fighter and WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election as Prime Minister of Hungary - HE WILL NEVER LET THE GREAT PEOPLE OF HUNGARY DOWN! Today, Crimean Tatar Ruslan Kurtmallaiev returned home from Russian captivity and spoke with his wife by phone for the first time.

The Defender was taken prisoner in April 2022 during the defense of Mariupol. Throughout this time, his wife Olha - who is battling cancer and has stage IV lymphoma - was waiting for him.
