In fairness to AI, it’s hard to cause economic growth when every other industry is losing workers hand over foot. But the real problem with AI companies is they are cash flow negative big time and there’s no obvious way for the markets to make up for it. There are only so many government contracts to go around and people aren’t going to pay $100/mo. for AI simply because they don’t have it. We’re at a point where wagies make just barely enough money to cover housing and all their utilities.
