Israeli Channel 12: U.S. President Trump has convened a security consultation on the Iran crisis, three days before the ceasefire expires.

If no breakthrough occurs today, the chance of war resuming rises dramatically.

Israeli officials said they are not taking risks and are preparing for a return to fighting in the coming days.

indeed but US was just stalling for time.

remember man, israel is never going to let this crisis go to waste. it is something they cannot afford to do so.
they currently have the US Navy parked right next to Irans doorstep. this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them.
they were destined to break any sort of peace with their actions.

remember the shitstorm they caused once trump invoked the word "ceasefire"?
they all lost their shit all over social media.
prominent kike media figures started complaining until trump released a new statement calling for the destruction of Iran.

the so called negotiations were never going to stick based on the wishes and actions of israel alone.

they expect americans to die as they watch it all go down on the fucking tv as they smoke a joint because they are the chosen people that all that shit.

Trump has been trying to suppress futures prices with bullshit headlines of ceasefires or deals. Various insiders have been shorting which also drives down futures prices.

However, come Wednesday, they're going to have to put up or shut up. And eat more shit the bigger the difference between spot and futures contract. The administration has actively made this situation more systemically dangerous to save face.

As I understand it bessent the american finance minister loaned out oil from the strategic petroleum reserve last month. At the time it produced supply and reduced prices
In turn he bought oil futures, at a future date "IOU" will deliver me a barrel of oil. This on paper is value neutral should supply be ensured and should
the price be higher even benefit the US treasury.

But in practice due to the quantity once they mature the other side needs to deliver the oil and needs to get them from the market.
To then not create a massive supply crunch the US needs to depress the prices to roll those over or get their hold of physical barrels.

In a sense it is all just window dressing but the fiction the US is creating becomes more fragile and easier to pop as I understand it.
The higher the oil prices are monday, tuesday and wednesday (I do not know the specific date the finance anons can correct me and know more than me)
the harder it gets to keep the books straight.

As I understand it a high oil price will force the matured certificates to purchase oil from the now higher spot market to deliver those IOUS (Paper barrels)
and to prevent a rapid price bessent would have to put mass quantities from the strategic petroleum reserves on the market to prevent this.

Anon elaborated that a severely depleted strategic petroleum reserve spooks the markets alone. Finance wizard is just the apperance and such an act
can not run forever.

21st April is the close of the WTI (West Texas Intermediate) futures contract for June see
https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/energy/crude-oil/light-sweet-crude.calendar.html
The futures-spot spread may cause some tightness there and some temporary upward pressure but from what I've read, the main crude marker is Brent and the contracts for June (CBM26) for those have to close on 30th April.
From what I've read, in the days leading up to that, the price of futures and dated Brent (physical Brent crude) have to converge. Given the supply constraints, I expect prices to spike rapidly.

some ships left today, including 3 crude tankers. Given the fog of war and these unusual conditions, it could very well be that the tanker had gotten clearance but that message hadn't percolated through to the nearest patrol boat. I wouldn't be surprised if Sanmar Herald exits the Strait soon, though.

That’s just how commodities work. In a functioning market they’re used to stabilize expenses for companies that actually produce real things (like airlines, farms, industrial processes, shit like that). If you’re a degenerate gambler you can instead trade futures with the idea that you can make money on it and we are once again going to face the consequences of letting them run rampant

Jewish Lightning, evolved:

Three Los Angeles residents were sentenced to 180 days in jail and ordered to pay over $100,000 in damages for an insurance fraud scam involving a "bear suit." The group, including Alfie Zuckerman (39), Ruben Tamrazian (26), and Vahe Mordkhanyan (32), used a person dressed in a bear costume with metal claws to damage luxury vehicles.
California Department of Insurance investigators analyzed the footage and concluded that it was a person in a costume, not a real bear, who used "kitchen utensils" or metal claws to cause legitimate or lesser damage.

It doesn't stop: Two soldiers have been detained for about a month on suspicion of acting for Iranian agents during their service. According to the suspicion, they were asked to transfer locations and information about systems, bases, and armaments - as well as about senior officials. At the beginning of the investigation, additional soldiers were also arrested, some from sensitive units - and their cases were transferred to the Military Police Investigations Unit. An indictment is expected in the coming week, and it will likely include a charge of aiding the enemy during wartime.

FM Araghchi and MB Ghalibaf Positions Under Fire

Just yesterday, the IRGC news agency openly criticized Araghchi on Twitter, exposing internal divisions within Iran’s top leadership.

The reality is that neither Araghchi nor MB Ghalibaf responded forcefully enough to refute Trump’s statements throughout the entire day yesterday. Ghalibaf waited until 2 a.m. Iran time to make his tweet after the markets had closed, a highly suspicious move.

The IRGC understands that this ambiguity from both weakens Iran’s leverage in the markets, something that is currently unjustifiable.

For public criticism of this level to surface, tensions must already be running very high. The next step is likely to be greater distrust and fewer public appearances by both.

My point is that a big chunk of the commodities market is not “investing” in it. They’re buying futures because they need the physical good as input for their physical processes in the real world. It’s a cost of business as important as paying employees
Put it another way to describe what’s coming: a popular airline here buys jet fuel futures. They ask for physical delivery because they need to put the fuel into their airplanes. They’re later informed that they bought a bad contract and the fuel isn’t going to be delivered. What happens next?

they just need a few rockets to threaten any ships in the strait and they've succeeded in closing it.
Iran does not need as much firepower if there is no large scale ground invasion which there won't be. And given that won't happen and Iran does not need too much firepower to achieve the goal of closing the strait and keeping the world economy hostage they have the better cards at the negotiating table.
How is this in any way better than what we had with the Iran deal made by Obama? We'll get a worse deal, sanctions will be lifted and Iran will still develop a nuclear weapon as it'll ensure the regime's survival which is their top priority the second this ends.

In addition to that, the moderates are all dead, including the one person who ruled that Iran could not develop nuclear weapons.
PLUS Iran is not going to give up enrichment or its enriched uranium, though it may agree to dilute the HEU and cap the enrichment - but those won't be without a hefty quid pro quo.
PLUS no curbs on missiles
PLUS no curbs on Hezb / Hamas / Houthi support

on top of that, it has some very impressive things to be proud of at a military level
- the accuracy of its missiles
- the scale of missile production
- strategic planning, targeting radars first and then blinding the USG-Israel
- national unity in terms of defence
- total lack of any kind of rebellion / uprising
So yeah, lets see how it goes. Ceasefire is winding down and the missile cities' entrances have been cleared out.

Hormussy is locked again
>In Iran, an announcement was made to ships in the Gulf of Oman area: "Attention all ships, due to the inability of the US government to fulfill its obligations in negotiations, Iran announces the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz. No ship of any type or nationality is allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz."

The "irreconcilable differences" are probably something like this
>hegseth: Let's send our warriors in there and just kill em, just like win, you know? like the 300 spartans and shit
>chiefs of staff: Well you see sir, that's not actually remotely possible
>hegseth: well shit man if you're gonna stab me in the back like that, I guess I have no choice but to resign! i want to WIN and you want to lose, irreconcilable differences!
>>
>>533399749

>>
>>533399689
firing Hegseth right now would be very bad optics for the war effort and trump man. i would want it but i dont think it is likely.

remember Hegseth fired all those generals. his firing would make them look like unjustly stepped on.

In the year 2000 Israel left Lebanon completely down to the centimeter by UN standards at the time. Hezbollah couldve disarmed and integrated into the Lebanese army and be done with Israel. Then 2006 happened. Hezbollah is just an Iranian tumor that infected Lebanon to hurt Israel and Lebanese people themselves are well aware of it but cant do anything about it.
