The following is the summery of this article by Chappy>AI is mostly automating parts of jobs, not replacing entire workers. Human roles are shifting toward problem-solving, oversight, and working with AI, though some companies are using AI to cut staff and operate with smaller teamsDo you agree with this opinion, Not out of your emotional expectations but cold hearted analysis? Would there be many things left for humans at work?https://edition.cnn.com/2026/05/10/tech/ai-taking-jobs
If you automate parts of a job, then companies will need less people for that job. So you're still taking my job away.
>>534800893ThisAlso the required skillset shrinks so more people can do the job, further reducing wages. There will be some things left for humans to do, but not nearly enough to employ the tens of millions of displaced workers. We are simplifying the supply chains so much that there is no room for us in it anymore.
>>534800831No!!! I want to be a wage slave forever!!! I don’t want luxury communism (that finally works because the tech is there)!! Noooo don’t give me AI dividends making me rich and everyone else rich and we can finally mine outer space for resources!!! No!!!!!
>>534800831someone should make an edit where it's the ai writing that article
>>534800831>felttry thinking next time.but you can't can you fag.
>Israeli rag puts pilpullery in their headlinesHOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!?!?
You guys dont get it. Say I manage a sweatshop with 5 duded doing x thing all day. They can do x thing at 20 repetitions per hour. Enter AI. It does a bunch of the stuff. Your output increases from 20 reps and hour to 60 reps an hour and your focus shofts from manually performing pointless labor, to ORGANIZATION, with the intent of exploiting the AI to further reduce the work you need to do and further increase your output.Because each employee is now 3x as effective, I am now 3x as incentivized to HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES.>Hey boss, remember that thing that was making you $$/person? >It is now making you $$$$$$/person>We are pulling increased revenue>Can I hire more persons? He wants to make more money so he says yes. The business is now more profitable per person and can afford to expand to pay more persons, and can also afford to pay each person more. This is a real life example, I have changed nothing except to simplify a few figures. The result of boosting efficiency was hiring more people and paying them more money to bring in higher revenue. Everyone is richer, everything is better. The real sweet part is, all this happened because everyone's work became easier, not harder.People will seethe at rock-squeezing middle management trying to get you to simply work more/harder to make THEM look better with basically zero upshot for you. AI replaced "JUST WORK HARDER AND LONGER AND TAKE LESS OF THE MONEY YOU EARNED". That is what was there, that's all there was for managers to work with for their constant demand of increased efficiency and LineGoUp. AI is pure pressure relief.
>>534801173How exactly does an autocomplete system do any of that?Communists are fucking retarded
>>534800831I can't wait to find a job in a shrinking market that is manipulated by elites trying to replace me with third world niggers who are slow marching my entire generation into a slaughterhouse so they can make more money and get more power.
>>534800831My manager has this mantra that the AI of today is the worst we will ever have, meaning AIs will only get better and manage tasks they may fail at right now.I believe it won't completely remove humans, but will reduce the team size and potentially, if you work in a digital environment, outsource the work that needs to be overlooked by humans to India or some other shithole, because the AIs are easy to use, don't require any qualifications and an indian is far more cheaper than paying a native worker. We are doomed, is my guess.
>>534800831This is outright telling you that ai is in fact taking jobs but with different words and written in a way to make it seem like its not a big deal.Im sure there is a term for this
>>534800831>>534801677
AI isn't even taking your job. Every company worldwide is collapsing as consumers can't afford to buy anything. But AI gives them the excuse to downsize and layoff thousands of employees. It's all being explained away by AI without letting investors know about the real problem. That way they can keep the stock market casino running.
>>534800893>every job is a cost centre kek
>>534802799I get the feeling that investors are the biggest retards on this planet, that were lucky enough to get into these positions through nepotism and now ruin the economy for everyone due to their retardation.
>>534800831Yeah because they got rid of Ted, they took him; some type of homosexual group.
>>534800831Sounds like it was written by ai.
>>534803101Most of them know, but they don't care. It's all fake money. But you can still get rich off fake money.
>>534800831these are great for news
>>534801843Except there's only so much demand. You can expand to a degree, but past that you'll be overproducing and no one will buy your extra shit. This means you'll settle at maybe 1.5x your previous output but only need half the employees to achieve that. The other half are fucked.
>>534801912Obviously it isn't an autocomplete program
>>534801843This is nonsense. In production you will hit a bottleneck with AI. Let's assume you sell product X and AI does a really good job at generating image of said products. Every output is flawless and ready to be uploaded on your Webshop, and it generates x3 more images than a team of photographers and retouchers. But at some point you will run out of products to display and increased image amount per product won't make a difference to your business. If anything, you took away the jobs of half of the team.
