I like Meltzer. I always have and I probably always will. Every passing moment I take his star ratings less and less seriously. They actually quite annoy me recently. Kind of, you're almost there. To make it believable, you have to either commit to making it cartoonish, or maybe it look authentic.
Ospreay/Danielson was neither, the grappling at the end was too WAY too slow, so the execution of that was bad, their movements of going back and forth in each other's arms were too coordinated. It was stuck between being the obvious superhuman caricatures Hogan and Warrior were and trying to make authentic grappling because neither guys are good enough to make it look legit.
This resulted in an awkward sequence.
