This board is about to be a ghost town lol
>>15078885What when AEW gets no increase?
They've been about to sign a lucrative new deal for about two years. When they get renewed, we won't even know the real number, because Tony always lies.
>>15078885Not a Subhojeet joint = not true
Their exclusive window isn't even up yet
>>15078885This isn't happening because 502 Live was cancelled I'm afraid.
>>15078885"Ghost town" as in an AEW event?
>>15078885"Anticipates" and "gets" are two very different things kek. Tina ain't getting a significant rights increase for a show that's hemorrhaging viewers and has a ceiling of 500k without Bazinga Man. When NXT on CW is doing similar numbers and only costs 20 milly, he'll be extremely lucky if WBD doesn't offer him a large pay cut.
>>15078885bros, he's gonna kayfabe a number and everyone is just going to believe it kek
>>15079023It works for their PPV buy numbers
>>15078894>>15079023Ah, so this is the cope, lol
>>15079044Is it not reasonable to expect some third party confirmation of any number reported by TK? He was caught lying about the Wembley gate, after all.
>>15078885He's only been saying that for the last 2 or so years. This time for sure
>>15078949This, assuming NXT keeps the same numbers, there is literally no reason to offer more of less viewership.
so AEW has had a deal on the table for weeks from WBD and hasn't taken it. >>15078949There's going to be a LOT of layoffs
>>15078922Isn't that just every show they do?
>>15078885piggiEs fear the BTC
>>15078885I would be embarrassed to have AEW on my network. The shows are so depressing to watch when nobody shows up to make any noise. TNA would be a better and probably cheaper option at this point
>>15078885It will pick back up when people find out about Tony fucking Sasha.
>>15078885Ask John Oliver how his renegotiation went.Pro-tip: He actually draws and and Zaslav no sold his ass.
If I'm him I'll just put everything on HBO max and let them figure out how to bring in new viewers
>>15078885AEW is only on tv in the first place because television as a whole died. Had this been 20 years ago Aew would have never even gotten in air. Nothing about Aew is impressive, it's "achieved" everything that it has out of default. AEW being cancelled shouldn't even be a talking point when aew's competition is shows like the real housewives season 39... fucking kill yourselves trannies.
>>15078885>cutting off who wrote itLet me guess it wasn't Subhojeet was it? You fucking FAGGOT! DELETE THIS THREADTHIS IS A SUBHOJEET BOARD MOTHERFUCKERSUBHOJEET
>>15080892basef
>>15080892Not a lie told. Why the fuck are Indians so cringe but the only "journalists" worth a damn and based in wrestling, Raj Giri and Subhojeet Mukherjee, are two of the most Dravidian niggers you will ever see.Memetzer and Thigh Slapp need to step their game up.
>>15078885I anticipate significant interest on the part of Gigi in regards to her sitting on my face
>>15078885Yeah, how can we make fun of AEW when it no longer exists?
>>15080878>Pro-tip: He actually drawskek
>>15080878>>15081405>John OliverSure, but what does he draw? All viewers are valuable but some are considerably more valuable than others.
>>15081440john oliver never drew a dimeor a pence? in his case
>>15081514agreed
>>15081514In England they call them Queenie's , not pence
>>15081542oi me bad guvnah u rite u rite
>>15081542>oi guvnah, spare a tuppance for me bbc loicense?
>>15081624I could hear that in WWE Halll of Famer Donald Trump's voice
>>15081624>>15081630the biggest deals, some say, not me, but some people tell me that its truly the best deal they have ever seen, you wouldn't believe the deals.
>>15078885Warner brothers is going to pay peopld to go to their shows?
>>15079044
>>15081624HBO Max deal in two more weeks you guys
>>15080862>I would be embarrassed to have a top 3 show on cableIm sure
AEW should launch their own streaming service a la the WWE network but hopefully not repeat the mistakes of putting mark ass wrestlers (Evil Uno, Ref Aubrey, Kenny) in charge of it like he did with the video game. AEW will have a much stronger bargaining position if they have 30k or 150k or 500k monthly subscribers that they're bringing to a streaming service - not just "Please give us money and we'll give you subs", begging for an opportunity. They could even use it as an opportunity to one-up WWE by providing alternate angles for certain moves, uncensored everything, extra footage that wasn't shown during the show, etc. WWE's replays are watered-down dogshit and take forever to get uploaded.>>15081637We love our media partners, don't we folks?
https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2014/07/views-from-the-turnbuckle-what-spike-cancelling-tna-579445/>Some fans will think that surely some network would give TNA a chance, because even though TNA's ratings were often the butt of jokes, getting near a 1.0 every week is still much better then what many networks do. While that is true, not all 1.0 ratings are created equal. A big thorn in the side of wrestling companies is that advertisers don't believe that advertising to wrestling fans is as profitable as advertising to other TV audiences, whether that be sports, reality TV, sitcoms or whatever. They believe (and hey, maybe this is true) that wrestling fans are mostly stupid hicks, who of course, don't have a lot of disposable income, which makes for a poor advertising audience. A wrestling show getting a 1.0 is not as beneficial to a network as a reality show getting a 1.0 (or in TNA's case, a re-run of COPS). That 1.0 might as well be a .60.>Need any proof? Just take a look at WWE's recent TV deal. While Raw consistently beats things like the NBA on TNT, they didn't get a TV deal in the same stratosphere as the NBA did with Turner, because wrestling audiences are not as valued as other audiences. WCW might have sucked at the end, but getting a 2.0 rating is nothing to sneeze at. Still, no TV company would take in Nitro, again, because a 2.0 for wrestling is not the same as a 2.0 for anything else.Read More: https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2014/07/views-from-the-turnbuckle-what-spike-cancelling-tna-579445/I know 10 sentences is quite a bit of reading for a lot of you, but try not to look at your phone for the next 10 minutes or however long it takes you, and really digest this information. TNA could very well take over AEW's timeslots and give comparable ratings for much lower money. It's not as if they were getting 300k viewers BEFORE getting cancelled, it's just that 1 milly wrestling viewers cannot and will not ever equal 1 milly non-wrestling viewers
>>15081681>We love our media partners, don't we folks?KEK
>>15081848It would be the funniest day in /pw/ history if AEW got cancelled....but also the worst day in wrestling history since WCW was sold
>>15078885Tony has been expecting that for 5 years, that doesn't mean it is going to happen. You know that, right OP?
>>15078885Ok, PigCrip.
>>15081624its yuge it's gonna be much yuger than sleepy paul's FAKE media deal
Imagine if the drones did something useful with all the time they spend obsessing over TV ratings and saying aew will surely die soon
>>15081624This is Trump speak for I ain't got shit lol
Imagine if the AEWtists did something useful with all the time they spend obsessing over their gender dysphoria and saying they will surely become a woman soon
>>15078891I think they will get a small increase like 10%. But WBD doesn't want ROH or AEW PPVs. Tony needs to stop the flippy fucks and push real talent. Next go find a second TV partner. That's one thing WWE is smart about.
>>15082088i don't even think WBD wants AEW period. it feels like tony is probably the only one in the negations who actually wants to keep working with them because "muh WCW".they don't wanna give him a streaming deal, they don't wanna give ROH a TV deal they don't wanna do PPVs for AEW or ROH and collision only exists because tony promised them punk and now he's back at WWE. so what exactly do they want?
>>15078891No billy is the new no milly.
>>15081652So AEW averaged 4 MILLION 545 THOUSAND per show?? LOL AEWTISTS too stupid to math
>>15080862>I would be embarrassed to have AEW on my network. What network do you own?
>>15078885Nah, it's all good, still plenty to rip on AEW for
>>15078885Its over
>>15081737>TNA could very well take over AEW's timeslots and give comparable ratings for much lower moneyDamn this new deal for AEW has already got bro's brains turning into mush kek
