The whole cinematic/post pandemic style is kind of a bad design choice. It's barely a professional wrestling show now, which doesn't sound bad at first, but now there is no stakes/every storyline and promo just feels like a play. You need to suspend your disbelief for a wrestling show, but not it's not even a wrestling show anymore.
>>15082683I agree but other people seem to like that presentation so I guess it's here to stay. I just don't like everything feeling like it's in a separate universe. Chris Jericho or Bray Wyatt's bro will walk out and the show they're on will change genres completely
>>15082683Theater kids. They're fucking everywhere now.
>>15082789It's not just the presentation though, wwe used to be simulating a sports channel, except crazy shit happened in it (the way it's been for the past 60 something years or something), now it's like this live action play. Like I get it's a cool idea on paper, but you will soon find it hard to be invested because it's no longer a fake simulated sports show, which is easier to suspend your disbelief for.
