It's been more than a year since AEW hired Will Washington and the shows have seen record low numbers. Attendance is down as well. I think it's safe to say that Washington is one of the worst hires in AEW history. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Washington wasn't qualified for the job. He had no experience in the wrestling world. He had no writing credentials. He was hired because he said nice things about Tony Khan online, simple as.
