They are not a business success under any metric besides "have not locked the doors shut yet." They have lost tons of viewership, market penetration and live ticket sales and they do not seem to be gaining any of it back. Their main lifeline, WBD, is literally on the verge of total bankruptcy and liquidation and Tony just buries his head in the sand that everything is going to be OK. I suppose in Tony's case, yes, it will be OK since he has his dad's money and is not going to become destitute but AEW as a company is bleeding money so badly from business decisions I can only assume this is some kind of curse Ted Turner put onto Warner.
