>>15835692Chris Jericho - Over in every promotion, best promo ever & a top tier in-ring worker / and storyteller as well. Had a unrivaled run from 1998-2020 as one of the best wrestlers in the world some years being THE best. Best character worker in history quite easily.Hulk Hogan - Probably the biggest star of all time, drew huge in WCW and WWE causing two different booms. Also a huge star in Japan. Hogan always made matches feel hugely important, even in the 2000s he turned a middling PPV into one of the biggest ever with Summerslam 2005. Steve Austin - Fantastic worker, can be a babyface or a heel. Carried WWE on his back with his storytelling and star power alone, somehow made slow brawling matches with little in ring action exciting AFAJ Styles - Was the best wrestler in TNA, the Ace of New Japan Pro Wrestling, was really good in ROH and then went to WWE and continued to be the ACE of that company too. Despite shitty Wrestlemania matches he made the product worth watching with his presence alone. Sting - Biggest babyface of all time, he carried WCW as the face of the company before Hogan and during it's hottest ever period with the feud vs the NWO for a year without saying anything or wrestling a match. He remained over in TNA until it fell apart and went to AEW and continued to be a big star drawing a sold out crowd years into his run for his final match. He still gets a huge pop anywhere and whenever he shows up. Consistently solid in the ring as well, with charisma and excellent character work to boot

>>15836131Stopped reading after the bullshit about Jericho. Pull your head out of your ass for a minute, re-watch some stuff and you'll see he's done the same match 500 times and the "Jericho Vortex" actually started with Juvi back in WCW or probably someone in SMW. All he does is leech heat and makes sure he's in the ring with a better worker.

>>15836131Would agree with Jericho but a key part of being a great wrestler is to know when to call it quits, which he clearly missed out on. Four years ago? Sure, he could be in that top five. Now? Absolutely not. Genuinely don't know who you can really say fills that slot. Angle maybe???

1.) Hulk Hogan (undeniable, was on the top of 2 boom periods, biggest long term draw)2.) Kurt Angle (GOAT status in ring and on mic)3.) Bret Hart (absolute GOAT in the ring)4.) Stone Cold (biggest draw at the biggest boom period, GOAT mic skills, great in ring even after injury)5.) The Rock (top 2 draw in the AE, could even be argued for being number 1 at times, GOAT status on the mic)

Later on he became a fat bloated parody of himself which he’s been doing for about half a decade now. He’s nowhere near the top 20 let alone the top 5.Austin is top 5 but why the fuck would you repeat some drivel about him being a good worker? Same for Sting being le biggest babyface ever. This is what happens when you get your ideas about wrestling history from YouTube shorts.
