>there was once a point in time where everyone in this image were all wrestling at the same timeHOLY FUCK take me the fuck back
>>15959880post the match you fuckhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2TFtpssguU
7 world champions and Ted.
Yeah and this point in time fucking sucked and killed wrestling.
>>15959937>Yeah and this point in time fucking sucked and killed wrestling.but enough about current wwe
>>15959928And people thought Ted would be the Wrestlemania main eventer.
>>15959880this astroturfed 2007-2009 nostalgia is so gay. if you were watching weekly you know that both of these shows were DOGSHIT minus little things that might be decent to ok, but thats mostly cope
>>15960087I agree with you about RAW, it was horrible. The Orton/Cena revision is pretty egregious. Smackdown had some decent stuff going from 08 to 09. Jeff/Punk, Batista/Rey, Taker still working full time. Ironically enough, ECW was the most watchable one out of the weekly shows of that era.
>>15960087still better than whatever triple h is promoting
2009: smackdown2024: ACKdown
Yet at the time, Punk and Cody meant little, Taker was washed, HBK/HHH were doing a lame PG-DX, Dibiase Jr. fucking sucked, and most adult men hated Cena.In 10 years there'll probably be a normal 10 man tag from 2024 where everyone will have been a world champion and people will get nostalgic.
>>15960153There's already bound to be dozens of throwaway tag matches with Sheamus/Del Rio/Miz/Ziggler/Stardust where almost everyone is a multi-time world champion.
>>15959928Ted should've had the title instead of cody
>>15960087>>15960114It's unfortunate that the propaganda of forcing Orton and Cena into top spots, and telling kids they're GOATs actually worked
>>15959928ted has his career ended by a concussion caused by a ron killings slap of all things
>>15960087SmackDown back then was good tho.
>>15960225I was at the 2014 Rumble in Pittsburgh and the boos for their match were the loudest thing on the show.
>>15960260Good. They're the worst 1A, 1B in the history of the company
>>15960087>>15960114>>15960225>>15960260>>15960269oh no, retarded smelly pedophile smarks that now have festering wounds between their legs and watch aew booed them
>>15960130never. the quality of a random 2024 raw is way higher than 2009 slop. not even close tranny
>>15960273It was more like drunk Penguins fans in Daniel Bryan shirts but go off with your catchphrases.
>>15960287>never. the quality of a random 2024 raw is way higher than 2009 slop.LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>159600872007 wasn't that bad a year minus the Benoit debacle First few months of '08 were good tooBut yeah 2009 was a dogshit year, same for 2010-2012, and then 2014-2021
>>15960364>same for 2010-2012, and then 2014-2021better than todays wwe
>>15960335He's not wrong. I'm on WWE 08 right now and the biggest problem is two things: one, matches between top carders/main events are usually REALLY long, pushing an average of 15-20 minutes, sometimes even for mid carders. Low card feuds that no one gives a shit about, and most of the match time feels like a lot of filler. I typically skip to about 5 minutes before the main event of the week ends for each show, after watching things in the episode I find interesting and I literally don't feel like I missed anything. The Attitude, Ruthless and apparently PG eras all seem to function like this. I feel more engaged with modern WWE matches because the talent are more likeable and have better match pacing.
>>15959880Yup and ratings were plummeting massively
>>15960364the dirty secret it that Vince was a shit tv producer for almost 20 years and now its noticeably better in every aspect, every week. funny that. maybe Vince was the retard all along
>>15960260The 2014 Rumble was in Philly
>>15959937Nah you're thinking of 2018, this was a based time
>>159606032014 Pittsburgh, 2015 Philly.
>>15960153>Taker was washedNo he wasn't, he started deteriorating after WM 27 and his last good match was HIAC 2015
>>15960500>I feel more engaged with modern WWE matches because the talent are more likeableMaybe it's because you don't know where the story will go? Whereas you already know where and how the talent will end in the older eras
>>15960087Gain taste, PG Era schizokino was good, even the fucking muppets episode and this is unironically not a bait
>>15960500>I feel more engaged with modern WWE matches because the talent are more likeable and have better match pacing.Same energy as that sidgwick twitter post about Steve Austin vs Adam Page, low test faggot redditors should be bullied out of this board like in the good old asp days
>>15960873The boneyard match vs AJ was the purest kino.
>>15960906I don't know where these will go either, but I'll give you doubt that it might be a possible subconcious psychological effect. >>15960978>rambling about twitter posts on 4chanYou're the faggot here, fuck off. Stone Cold is based.
>>15960500The first ~2 years of the Attitude Era rarely had a Raw/SD match go more than 10 minutes that wasn't a main event.
>>15961071Well, I can concede it's been a while since I saw any attitude matches. But at least post X-7 it was definitely more like that.
